the way I believe and brought my son up to believe...is don't judge on physical looks because you could be missing out on a great friend. They may not be what you are attracted to as far as a relationship, but don't throw anyone away. You can't judge who a person is by looks. "don't judge a book by it's cover" this is why I love you , yellowrose. Let's stay friends forever!

Looks are an opinion not a fact. Everyone is attracted to different things, but no one deserves bad treatment because you are not attracted to them. very much agreed. being nasty to others just shows the ugliness in that person I know I have talked about this with others...but I will say skinny people have it just as bad. we get the jokes and insults and get hurt just as much everyone has preferences but that's no excuse for rudeness, when it happens So true myself I really don't see the need of these type of post just to draw more attention to what some try to avoid. The hurt an insults from others and downing the ones that do it does not make two wrongs a right. I know just my opinion but skinny or full figure hey just be happy with yourself. And work on the things that make you unhappy. As long as your comfortable with yourself that is all that matters. Yep my two cents

Andrew - that is one of the smartest things I have ever heard in the forum. Imagine that - everyone gets turned down -not just fat chicks and nice guys!!!

agreed...and usually some jokes about skinny or whatever the opposite of the topic is comes out I do love the fat n sassy club...they have done a great job starting it and keeping it fun

Must say I have not been there yet it is one thing to keep it all in fun and having a good time. It is another when some start to bash others. Will have to check it out.
Problem is that some don't understand it is okay for each to have their own opinion. They just don't have to be rude within voicing it and putting others down. Life would be so much better if we thought before we spoke or posted and really read what we said. Just by taking a few extra minutes and not bashing others but to keep things in a debate form. You see we all have our own opinion and to use that in the way of a debate. Then one can prove their point. Many could be surprised and they may look at things in a different light. But... if harsh words are being thrown the subject is no longer considered only the harsh words being thrown are.  Therefore the point is lost.
