But I don't want to hear BS.

Either way, what does one think of the end of time? Me, myself, have been waiting for it for years. The day when man no matter race, color, or ethnicity will be killed off equally. Perhaps the greatest triumph in mankind, to be decided equally.

I am a nihilist, I don't think personally that many of mankind matter or for that matter will do anything different, we have no use and are ultimately just here to die...negative I suppose, but negative to you is positive to me...

I don't know. I'm torn on the subject personally. According to the bible we have thousands of years before the end days. Though according to a few, the war in Iraq could be interpreted as the 28 year war that Nostradamus predicted prior to the Armageddon. It's anybodys guess, I guess.

End times?

Human race?

I have this dichotomy.... I am all about preservation of life, ALL life...human or otherwise, and yet I feel we are the only species that can be removed from the entire infrastructure of this Earth's ecosystem, and everything else will thrive...

That humankind, is the scourge of this planet, and everything else that resides on it... so it's a bit of a challenge for me, answering you.

I will always honour life, no matter what species....

so we have a different outlook.

The beauty of diversity, I really do respect your opinion personally, I wouldn't have it any other way...it is good to see someone that truly thinks that mankind is worth saving, even if so truly out of the ability of one...a true hero you are. Cheers!drinker

A scourge maybe. But without us, wouldn't some species also cease to exist? What of the scavengers who thrive off of our refuse? Where would they go to forage for food without our garbage to eat off of?

You know... there is a theory that time is actually circular in nature. Would lend credence to other theories like reincarnation. Just a thought.

In a sense when all ends, all ends. Regardless of species or race, we all die equally...again the greatest triumph man will ever accomplish.

Wherever they did, before we encompassed their natural habitat, and food sources.

I do follow this thought to an extent, but to what will we go on as if all ends? Micro-organisms is my first thought, or something less than that of a speck of dust, something that can live through the fire.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they didn't exist before we did.

I'm confused at this statement, are you saying a hunt? Or a feeding off what some other being hunts? Perhaps more explanation can be given to your statement.

I prefer to think of us in the terms of another theory... that we are all merely energy inhabiting the physical forms of our bodies, until it comes time for us to expire. And by us I merely mean our physical selves. And then the energy that inhabited our physical beings manifests itself into another physical being. Of course, according to metaphysics theory, everything physical is comprised of energy, so theoretically anything and everything could contain a "soul" as it were.

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive & well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand--strawberries & chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out & screaming "WOO HOO - WHAT A RIDE!" " LOL

end of times

hell i am just starting to have fun loldrinker

I agree energy is a far bigger thing than most realize.

Scavengers?

Rats?

Vultures?

WHat type of scavenger?

Surely you are not so unsure of the fact that although rats have co existed beside humans for convenience, and as man has over populated this earth, and consumed vast tracts of land, and resources, these animals did not exist quite well without us?

Rats also eat carrion, grain... Vultures have been eating carrion long before we arrived, pigeons, seagulls... what kind of scavengers specifically?

I'm sorry? Are you saying that at the end of times race and ethnicity will be a factor in our dispersion?

I'm not a racist, nor am I unintelligent. Perhaps you misread my words?
