A belief isn't necessary what one "knows" as much as what one "thinks" I think.

Fear- How are you a nihilist if you're continually stating beliefs about time and the end of the world as your own? When did I state them as my own, much less when did I state a time the world will end? I'm theorizing the possibility not putting a "matter of fact" time down on it. You seemed to be very sure that time is essentially dependent on change and motion. But if no beliefs can be justified, why believe in anything? I am very sure of this, however this is dependant on personal idea/belief. My idea/belief cannot be forced on another, and I will not do that. Keep your idea/belief for it is your own and that is the great thing about it, too each their own. Please don't let me sway you from that, these are mostly my personal opinions some are fact and some are just theories...let's keep it at that and not decide on numerical figures or personal factors. |

why does there have to be proof on beliefs? Not proof. Justification. An argument using reason to explain reasoning for thinking something. |

why does there have to be proof on beliefs? Agreed ten-folds, a belief is just that-what one believes to be true, this can disagree with millions of people, such as God and the Bible...personally don't agree with God and the Bible but respect them enough to look into them, and trust me I have. |

I don't want to hijack the thread on a belief theory so I will hush

I am not saying for a fact that the earth will be pulled into the sun, I am saying that it is a high possibility that it will happen. Do not take my opinions as facts, they are truly speculation and should be treated as such. But the possibility is truly there if you look at all of the facts surrounding it.

And I believe that may happen eventually. Again, not in any of our lifetimes, but eventually. It's also possible our sun could just die and send us into another ice age (a permanent one) due to that. I personally believe though our end will be manufactured by ourselves long before that if we aren't careful. |

why does there have to be proof on beliefs? Not proof. Justification. An argument using reason to explain reasoning for thinking something. ok but why should I have to justify what I (me myself and I) believe? if I chose to believe the sky is purple with pink polka dots...why can't I believe it just based on my feelings? |
