if you use protection you dont need to worry about your health. its your body, your health, so the decison is down to you.

That's a foolish statement... condoms don't protect you from HPV, and anyone who receives/gives oral is at risk for catching anything and everything.

The whole reason HPV (which is the virus that causes warts, along with cervical cancer and other cancers, including throat cancer) is so prevalent because they still don't have tests for men, even though that's always been the reason for PAP smears.

Since men don't usually show any symptoms, they pass it around from one woman to the next, and they pass it to men, and so on and so forth. If everyone would just be more smart about sex, we wouldn't have such a problem as a whole.

If you are going to have sex, WRAP IT UP!!!!

my son is nine when he came to me telling me he knew about sex, we had a long talk and i purchased a book appropriate for his age, i didnt go into graphic detail of course but i did explain about the use of condoms and diseases which the book backed me up on, now also my son feels comfortable in asking me questions and it isnt a taboo subject or something to be ashamed off, but that there are also consequences to his actions if he isnt wise

Condoms do protect against HPV, if used during oral they are complete in their protection. They have classes to teach how to use them even during oral. I have been to them.

I've been told by doctors and have read in health books that condoms do not protect you 100% from HPV or any other STDs... not sure where you got your info from

well what do you suggest then?? people are NOT going to stop having sex, the only way you can keep your self safe as much as possible is to use protection. so what do you suggest then??? yes i know herpes, and warts can be past on by skin to skin contact, but we can only use protection, seriously what method have you found that NO std can be passed on??? as im aware there ISNT ONE.

The latex condom is 100% as long as it does not break and is not defective. The others are not as good. But latex condoms are 100% if used properly, faithfully and do not break or have a defect. Don't have to be a doc to know this just keep up with the information provided.

I used to work for social services and worked with the AIDS clinic and I know that latex condoms, not the other kind, are 100% if used all the time even during oral. The only time they are not is if they break or are defective.

Google it, it also says getting hiv/aids from oral is theoretical. When I asked my doctor , he said someone would leteraly have open sores in their mouth & be a prostitute to catch most diseases... That being said , I'm clean...

i worked with aids patients to. all we can do is use condoms, so i cant see what that lady called me foolish. none of us are going to stop having sex, so unless a miracle happens and they develop protection against EVERYTHING, all we can use is condoms. how that comment was foolish is beyond me,

No oral is not related to HPV OR HIV, but gonnerhea, herpes, and a few others are, so it is best to use a condom even during oral.

Personally, if I want to have sex without a condom, we make a date to go to the clinic together and as a couple they will let you know if there is something amiss. That is the only way I am going bare back. I have seen too many young beautiful girls who are HIV positive and I know that guys will do them without a condom because they do not "look" like they have anything. I have heard to many guys say it, she didn't have anything I could tell. This is bad, bad, bad.
