wth is this world coming too.... why are we speaking of teenagers anyhow... we need to be talking about the dirty dirty men and women out there in this world... making it unsafe for the rest of us to have our own clean fun... without worrying about damaging our health! if you use protection you dont need to worry about your health. its your body, your health, so the decison is down to you.

Appears that wonderful abtinance trend of programs being offered by this administration is not working well, hmmmmmmmm nope, sounds more like parents are failing their children to me. It is not the governments role to raise our children if parents would come out of the 'not my kid" bubble and talk about sex and condoms etc this number would be cut in half.I think this statistic also says a lot about the self esteem of some of our teen girls.

Part of the reason maybe, because, we are living in a society, where someone's coolness is measured by their blood alcohol level and numbers of sexual partner, who lost virginity first, rather than their IQ.

The whole reason HPV (which is the virus that causes warts, along with cervical cancer and other cancers, including throat cancer) is so prevalent because they still don't have tests for men, even though that's always been the reason for PAP smears. Since men don't usually show any symptoms, they pass it around from one woman to the next, and they pass it to men, and so on and so forth. If everyone would just be more smart about sex, we wouldn't have such a problem as a whole.
