I must be rude cause I only answer the ones that catch my eye if I answer all of them I would never have time to chat on the threads

i find it more rude when someone doesn't bother to read the information that i've taken the time to complete on my profile (granted this one isn't complete at all, lol). if i specifically state not to send a friend's request without ever having spoken with me before (for example) and they do, they've indicated that they didn't care to read what i'd written and, if they did, they certainly didn't care what i asked. that's rude and i could care less how i appear when i don't write back. i also don't reply to any one or two-word sentences such as 'wassup' or 'hey sexy'. usually my profiles are fairly extensively filled out and if that's all they could muster up to say, they probably wouldn't interest me on any level, so i just hit 'delete' and again, could care less if they find me rude. well said

just because the person is to far.they may also be too old or young but, who says they wouldnt make great friends.

just because the person is to far.they may also be too old or young but, who says they wouldnt make great friends. it depends on what they wrote in the email.

Yes, I think its rude. I reply to all my messages/emails... even if its a not-so-pleasant response like "Thanks for taking the time to creep me out, dont message me again please"

i responded to a guy who i wasnt intrested in , said no thanks your alil young for me, and he did the give it a chance im great , im like its really not cool to beg, i was trying to be polite instead of ignoring the email , so the guy assumed that i wanted him deep down because i answered , oh well next time ill just ingore emails from people

I just had a man be a jerk to me because I told him, "Thanks, but I don't take friend's requests from people that I've never spoken to before. I even said, "Good luck with your quest." He replied back rather rudely.

how about when some 40-something guy reads your profile (mine says im startin out as friends) then they say something like.. "if you wanna know more, just email me back, i'll reply" first off, they read my profile, it says "close to me, that's close to my age" they're lookin for more than a friend, i refuse to settle...so if i don't reply...am i rude??? c'mon now lol i don't wanna know more..why reply?

Do you all find it rude when you send out e-mail and they dont respond? I think its more polite then getting a response saying "youre not my type, or not interested, etc"
