I try to answer all emails ASAP. What I don't like is when I get a message "I want to talk to you" or "I like you profile" and I take the time to answer and they do not respond. Come on guys, if you like someones porfile at least write a short note..Most people I have met on here are very good about responding....

I find it rude I don't get many emails, and of the few I get they're usually about my hair...come on, am I the only one that thinks people that wear their hair like me...wait...ah crap...

My problem - I only have a little time to spend online. I come on here and always check the forums first. I've become addicted. Then I end up not having much time to answer my emails. It's terrible, I know. But..it's the truth. I didn't start out that way. It's just that the forums are so darn addicting.

Does anyone else do that?

I would rather hear the I am not interested bit. I don't even try sending out emails anymore.

Same here. I learned pretty quickly that there's no point in sending out first e-mails to anybody. Now that I've been here awhile, lots of people write to me. Never anybody within 897,000 miles, but at least the ones from distant galaxies do write.

Of course it is rude, unless it's a vulgar message. I reply to everyone even if it's "Thanks for the mail, but I don't think I am what you are looking for, good luck with your search." It dosn't take long to do that.

I don't trip unless it is someone that I have been talking to for a while and all of a sudden stops responding then yeah it is rude...But if you are a debt collector then the phone will just go to voicemail & then get deleted!!

i don't know about all women, or even most women, but i do know myself and i know that it takes a lot more than one email to know whether i like someone, either romantically or even whether i'd enjoy to continue talking with them

it's the content of the email, rather than the attraction to the photo, for me at least, that dictates whether or not there'll be a response.

some girls (and guys too) get a lot of mail, every single day. if i'm going to send an email, i want to make sure that i stand out and am not just one of the masses who says 'hi, how are you?'

I remember when I first started online. LOL. I was shocked that people would actually ignore my messages. thinking I was the only one, I posted a topic like this. now I dont even remember half the people I message, if they bother to read it or even message me back, ive probably forgotten who they even were. Its best not to think about getting a responce, just write what you feel, and then cut the rope and fall.
