Nope, I used to respond to all of them, until I realized that some people, no matter how brief you are, just dont get it. So now I don't bother.

Notice that the only people who have an issue with getting too many emails and not responding are women on here. I respond to every email I get regardless, and being a guy on here I guess I don't get too many. Call me a hater, I could care less, just saying it like it is.

I am probaby seen as rude then. I get them sometimes and save them with the intent to write back. Then, for some reason I just forget to do it.
Then I remember too, and go look for them and they are gone. I mean from my box of received mail.
If for no other reason than to say I am sorry for not getting back to them.

I think many people do not respond emails because they are not interested in the person. In contrast, i try to answer all my emails, because i wont lose any thing if i say hello!

I try to answer all my emails. I think it is rude not to. How and you answer your emails and if you answer at all says a lot about you. If I write to someone it's because I read something in their profile that I liked. If they don't answer it makes me wonder just how honest they were in their profile. This is a dating site.....you won't get a date or meet anyone if you don't answer.

Think about it....if you were out in public and some of these people that you ignore here might turn out to be someone you want to meet.

The problem here is that a good portion of the ladies on here are "too high on their horse". First off, they believe that every guy that pings them on here is a stalker. Secondly, the egos of some of these people befuddle me completely. If you don't want email get off the site...the sole basis of this site is direct communication yet some women here think that only Brad Pitt should get in touch with them. Just get over yourselves.

some of us are here for OTHER reasons. i have no intention of ever meeting anyone...other than for friends.

the forums, for example...they are where it's at for me. this site is a way for me to keep in contact with a select few special friends that i have made online...and yes, i've made new ones here, as well. but i'm not looking to date, and i don't get to participate in the forums as much lately, either.

Like I said, I used to, but it's really tiresome to answer the same question over and over again from the same people because they can't come up with anything new to ask. So, if there's anything of interest in the email, or even just a hi, saw your profile or whatever, how are you? I'll respond to that. But what's up? or something equally as drab just doesn't illicit interest.

its not that I get "to many" emails to respond to. And it happens to me ALL the time from men. I don't get offended if someone doesn't write me back

its not fair to say we are on "our high horse" if we don't write someone back. If you have seen some the emails I have gotten, u might understand why I don't reply to them all.

I have difficulty responding to all my emails in a timely fashion. I try to answer everybody but I usually dont have the time to write out a lengthy response because while Im typing, im gettin 3 to 4 more emails. Im not really complaining. It beats not gettin any emails at all
