Imagine if we were invaded today. Say a huge army came up from south America. Call it the fourth Reich led by the likes of Hitler type mentality.

Where would our protection be? Off in several third world countries. How soon could they come to our defense? Too late that's what.

Bring our troops home where they belong to protect our shores. Even our National Guard is lacking because they are being sent over seas to fight in an illegal war.

I must say, I give great respect to Prince Harry of England, who wanted to be in Afghanistan. He knows the reality of the status of the world regarding terrorists and those who hate democracy and freedom.

Do people really think the USA would be as strong and free as it is if we did not go on the offensive? Should we wait to be on the defensive when another 9/11 happens if we just sit on our behinds?

The thing is, we really had no business going there in the first place. Most Americans are bombarded with propaganda about what is going on and why. Its a long long story of greed and the American dollar which was about to take a div because Saddam was selling oil for some other currency besides the U.S. dollar. It had nothing to do with 9-11 and nothing to do with weapons of Mass destruction, unless you count destruction of the American Dollar a weapon of mass destruction.

The troops don't know why they are there either. They didn't know it in Viet Nam either. It is all about gold and money. It is not about the poor women and children. That is the brutal truth.

Why do you think we have to be on the offensive? Isn't that the bad guy's roll?

That is bull that we either fight the terrorist in Iraq or here. We were only hit on 9/11 out of our own complacency and ignorancy. We are not killing terrorism by killing Iraqis. That is bull.

As for the prince in Afghan, he is no longer there thanks to the news story telling us he is there. But princes often do time in the military, has nothing to do with legitimacy of the war, it has to do with character building for a future king.

We are not stronger because of war. War is an extreme necessity that depletes each nation that experiences it and if we warred with anyone over 9/11, legitimately it would not have been Iraq, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11.

We should be getting the perpetrator of 9/11. We should be vindicating the victims of 9/11.

Like I said before, our troops are depleted. They are in third world countries.

If we were massively invaded tomorrow by the fourth Reich from south America, or bombed by Russia, we would have very few troops to defend this nation. Why? Because they are on the "offensive" in several third world countries. Do you know how much time it would take to bring them home? It would be too late for most or many of us.

The thing that frightens me most is that the war on terrorism as it is called will never end. Obviously other countries are no afraid of us or they wouldn't attack us.

We are in a vicious cycle of hate. They attack us, we retaliate and attack them, they attack us again, we attack them again and so on a so forth. It will never end, wait no that isn't right, it will end when the human race goes the way of the dinosaur.

We have been involved in wars since america was made, and we have yet to stop. Peace is something that needs to be fought for but will never be truly realized because we are always fighting for it.

The powers that be do not want the war on terrorism to end...
They would literally be out of a job.

War is a profitable business... for some people. The bad people. They sell guns to both sides, and they steal the gold and property.

Many so-called "terrorists" are funded by some secret organization who is making money hand over fist from both sides of the conflict.

sadly i have to agree with jeannie on this as it does seem to be what is happening. There will never be an end to terrorism no matter how hard we fight.

I know a lot of things that the average person does not know.

They are not so secret that some do not know about them. They are concealed from the general dumbed down population who sit on their couches every night watching sports, drinking beer and watching the slanted propaganda you call news.

Secrets are only called secrets because most people do have their heads "buried in the sand" and they believe everything George Bush utters and everything they see on the news.

ok, here's what it all boils down to... If the "fighters" didn't exist in the country bad people would rule. The "fighters" keep the "bad guys" at bay. Bad guys are People that would actually make your life a living hell versus "forcing" you to watch it on tv. If the "liberals" didn't exist then the fighters could get carried away and become "bad" themselves. The only problem is when these "liberals" start getting too controlling they are making themselves into the "fighters" enemy, endangering everyone. In a sense they too become almost as evil as the "bad guys". You see, as long as we don't push too hard and become "bad guys" ourselves (this stands for both the soldiers and "liberals") we keep each other from crossing over. This is why we have to compromise in order to coexist. Neither side should act before they think things through completely. To blindly hate is to become an enemy of peace. And peace is what we all want.

I believe that the people who fight and die probably do want peace. I believe most ordinary citizens want peace.

But there are those who definitely DON'T want peace. They want war. They want power. They want money, gold, wealth etc.

These people are NOT THE ONES DOING THE FIGHTING.

We, our sons and daughters are doing the fighting. But they and most people THINK they are doing it for PEACE.

There is the lie.

we are just trying to clean up a mess...you know, keep as may alive and well as possible. Soldiers are not pawns.
