I'm an American; which means that I'm a dinosaur, a person that has not sworn allegiance to any political party, religion, or creed. I believe in the rights of all people to live their lives free from political despots from all sides; free from the kinds of political correctness that brought us prohibitions of all types. http://www.kirwanesque.com/politics/articles/2004/art18.htm

From zero tolerance, bigotry, officially sanctioned hatreds, racism, and in general a National-Paternalism that defines the current Police-State under the Bushwhackers-a state that has killed the Constitutional Republic-in which 'Americans' had begun to think of themselves as 'a free people.'

Forty years ago during another phony war, in 1968, at the National- Democratic Convention in Chicago the system for selecting presidents as well as running this country was utterly destroyed. It was replaced with a 'Party-loyalty' that supersedes all national political affiliations to the Constitution-especially during a time of war. It was there that the term "American" became an endangered species. (1)

From then until now the extremes of this treachery have not been used, thus allowing the truth about 'elections' to remain hidden from the voting public. That is all about to CHANGE under the terms of this conflicted election year. Under the constitution national elections were supposed to involve the national election of the president by the citizens of the United States. That did not involve delegates, or Super-Delegates, or the political will of party conventions-all of that was created by the two political parties. Incidentally the 'two-party-system' is NOT part of the constitution.

This so-called two party system was created by the Democrats and the Republicans to protect themselves from any third party intrusion on their political feast, which they discovered early-on, could be very lucrative for those who controlled the money and the largess of the world's richest nation. To insure that their 'political-rein' would never be interrupted, the parties took complete charge of national-presidential-elections.

They already had the 'Electoral College' whose delegates do not have to abide by the voters who selected them. In this complex twist of election trivia, it seems that the people only get to vote for "delegates" not the actual candidates themselves. Then these 'delegates' meet in the Electoral College, after the election, and vote-in the actual people who will be the president and vice-president of the US. Those delegates to the Electoral College do not have to follow the voter's dictates as decided in the conventions. They can change their minds-despite the results of the votes that supposedly sent them to the Electoral College.

It was from this twisted bit of outmoded thinking that the two (and only two) political parties got the idea to switch everything from direct elections by the people to this quasi "selection" by Political-Insiders. These are the governor's, the head of the political party's and the Congressional members of The-535-Club: all of whom are supposed to 'protect and defend the constitution' but most of whom have placed their own Party loyalty ahead of any loyalty to either the Constitution or the people of this country. This SECRET set of rules for selecting the leadership of the nation has remained under-wraps for four decades.

Now all those that thought their vote actually counted-are about to see the awful truth-but too late to do anything about it! This too is part of 'what really happened' while the herd was too busy with their tiny little lives, so self-absorbed with buying, stealing, and becoming absorbed in everything except the pillars of their own way of life-that they each failed to notice the 'death- throes' of the one nation that so many have called home! (2)

Do not be surprised by anything that might come from the conventions once they finally begin. Cheney has 'predicted' that the Republicans will win in November, and the Decider is promising the conservatives that he will insure that the Republicans will have a true conservative as its candidate in November. Using the new math that candidate might well be **** Cheney.

But however this turns out there is an even more over-arching and far more powerful group that makes all its own rules and they have ALREADY selected who the next president and vice-president shall be. The American public will have nothing to do with it-if we ever did! However, if the public actually rebels over having their presidential elections stolen (for a third time by Bush & the Bandits): then and only then will anything even remotely begin to change!

Just look at how far we've fallen: Our leaders are not bound by the same laws that each of us must answer to. Cops are not bound by the same laws which they "enforce," too often using torture and deadly force on unsuspecting people who once looked to them for protection from both crime and government. Homeland Security has secretly hired mercenaries by the hundreds of thousands to militarize our police and replace the State National Guardsmen with these hired thugs for ten times a day what we paid the National Guard. Three days ago we learned of another insider compact between the FBI and the self-styled 'patriots' of the right wing Corporatocracy that now have over 23,000 corporations who have been given the right to "shoot-to-kill" Americans WHEN Martial Law is finally in place. (3)

Judges, in too many cases, now decide which parts of the Constitution they will "allow" into their courts; especially in cases brought against the IRS: This from the entire third branch of the US government that is (again) supposed to protect and serve the people who actually pay them. That's 'justified' since the Supreme Court of the United Sates broke the law by appointing Bush to the presidency on 12-12-2000. Since the Supreme's became outlaws, how honest will any of the lower courts have to be when dealing with the rest of us? That answer is still unfolding every day that the government fails to prosecute any of the criminal "cops" that daily attack the population, in the name of Homeland Security, without any fear of sanctions. There are over two million videos on the web of assaults by law-enforcement against citizens about 700 are supposedly under-investigation yet to date there has been no publicity concerning anyone with a badge being disciplined. That means that like-it-or-not we live in a police- state!

Office-holders and political appointees, along with the hundreds of thousands in the various Intelligence Services are also now apparently immune from any laws requiring them to answer for their actions in public or before the Bar of Justice that task is reserved to lowly taxpayers and ordinary working people all others have a Get-Out-Of-Jail FREE card that has no expiration date."

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes? You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don't write the tax code. Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy. Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy. The Federal Reserve Bank does. One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 300 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

Excluded was the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered but private central bank. I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason, they have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton- picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a SPEAKER, who stood up and criticized G.W. BUSH for creating deficits.

The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow Democrats, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts - of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem, from an unfair tax code to defense over runs, that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.

When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist. If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair. If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red. If the Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ. There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exist disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation" or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do. Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power. They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses - provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees. We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess.

you would be a bad ass, helping me defend my friends, the native americans. there's plenty to be pissed about in this country, but only about the people who are running it for their personal gain. i'm a nordic katrina victim, so i take it personally. those are my friends that are still being phukked as i speak. i would die for the people in it in a heartbeat, for the civilians not them, govt, and would be point man, all the time... no exceptions!!!!! no matter what happens to me, burned or paralized, as well, it would be far worth it.

I'm handing out tinfoil hats and nooses for anyone who feels great loathing after reading such drivel.

passion is useful, if steered correctly, by himself and others, it's his point of view and some parts are valid, i've never seen anybody, no matter who, with their facts totally straight every time, even with the absolute best. history's jaded by landscape painters, you have to live it to be certain. for instance, did you know there was an emt convention in new orleans, of 400 people from all over the world? they camped out in front of harrah's which was the police headquarters, with generators, cold/hot food and water. they wern't aloud these luxuries though. no camera man showed this muriad of different nations together, not once on your tv. they were threatened at gunpoint as well. there was a site up also, but can't find it now. they let everyone sit for seven days, on purpose. your military survival guide says 7 days without food or water can be lethal, at 72 degrees, it was 105-110 heat index. we bombed afganistan in three days and dropped food at the same time, why couldn't they bomb new orleans and drop food....... why didn't anybody steal the bass boats, to help out, there's only...hundreds. tryed to call nagin, i know him loosely, to run the busses free, to pick up straglers. i could go on, and will, but goota go!!!

you know what dude...the rhetoric you speak is comforting to
alot of folks that will read it.
but truth is, you benefit from this paternalistic, blahblahblah
society about which you complain.
youf have had opportunities, and been given advantages that MILLIONS of worthy people can only fantasize about.
what you 'believe ought to be the way' is kind of irrelevant
when you stand it next to the profit you have received from
'that which you so oppose'.

cops pull me over you can rest assured there gonna have more
questions for me than for you.

'separation of church and state' as so many of you present it isn't in the constitution either.

and the only reason this supposed voter fraud is stuck in your craw is because it kept your lackey president out of office.

The course of this nation is moving from a Federal Republic into the definition of a spurious notion that this is a democracy.

When the havenots dictate to the haves how it is, then the haves will leave.

You see, it's because the responsibility of the voter is to be equally accountable for consequences.

If you have nothing to lose andeverything to gain, then you are really purposing to steal the fruits of hard diligent labor over time that has amassed economic security and transfer that wealth without its accountable responsibilities to the hands of those that did not labor to overcome the adversity that motivated such endeavors to succeed.

So lets gut the nation and expect it to lead and live and speak of greatness to the world?

With what?

A vote to stalemate the movement of laws?

Can this nation move in any direction without creating new problems to address?

How do you write laws to fix laws that the clever and intelligent find shrewd ways to manipulate with impunity?

Must we all become lawyers to stop it?

Too many judges....they vote every year.

Too many judges....crying for change.

Too many judges....spewing words and not participating in the productivity of this nation for the common good of this civil society.

Where does the money go?

To a world without borders, neighbor.

Try and control that from a seat at the American table.

NOT!!!!!!!

This whole world is headed for a generation that will have one world leader.....and when he, she, or it is revealed what makes anyone think that anything will get better for anybody except the few that are priveleged and franchised to find protection from such a leader?

We have all been warned that such a thing will occur for 2000 years.

And yet, the world call the Holy Bible a myth.

Perhaps the myth is the delusion that is fulfilling itself today.

That myth is that Jesus Christ is not God of the all Creation.

How can it be that the Bible is unfolding its warning and ywet haNDS ARE OVER THE EYES AND EARS OF THE SKEPTICS CRYING THAT ITS A MYTH.

The Islamic world believes and wants to be on top when it happens.

Israel expects to be on top when the smoke clears.

The Asians seek to wait it out and bide their time until its over.

Americans act like the world owes it something, yet ignores the possibility that it is causing the prophesy to actually manifest itself, by its actions.

No one wants to admit it is happening, but nothing is done to stop each step prescribed in scripture that is actually unfolding before our eyes.

Does anyone read this book?

Does anyone know what it really has written on its pages?

VERY FEW REALLY DO KNOW WHAT IS WRITTEN IN IT!!!!

and yet, this book is evrywhere.

Talk about delusions and hypocrits!!!!

We are all warned and have been for countless generations.

All the authorities on the fallacies of the ZHoly Bible are all the same idiots that have never read it for themselves.

YAS, I said IDIOTS!!!!

You have never read it cover to cover.

Never...

No, NOT ONCE

EVER

QUIT YOUR WHINING AND READ IT!!!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY!!!!!

It's irritating as hell itself to listen to this spewed garbage about this nation and this world from all the self proclaimed intellectuals and know it alls about what is wrong with everybody else.

IDIOTS!!!!!

I agree with some of what he wrote, madison, but there is some of it I am skeptical of. Some of it sounds like a shock jock tactic that the prejudice right use.

We are the change in this country, if people do not vote and contact their representatives, the changes will not happen. People need to act, not mouth the words and watch the fall out.

I understand the complaints but people need to do something about it.

There are enough of us with sense to get the government back in order if we all acted in unison to change it.

Thomas Jefferson wrote that the First Amendment erected a "wall of separation between church and state". James Madison, often regarded as the "Father of the Bill of Rights",[5] also often wrote of the "perfect separation",[6] "line of separation",[7] "strongly guarded as is the separation between religion and government in the Constitution of the United States",[8] and "total separation of the church from the state".[9] Controversy rages in the United States between those who wish to restrict government involvement with religious institutions and remove religious references from government institutions and property, and those who wish to loosen such prohibitions. Advocates for stronger separation of church and state emphasize the plurality of faiths and non-faiths in the country, and what they see as broad guarantees of the federal Constitution. Their opponents emphasize what they see as the largely Christian heritage and history of the nation (often citing the references to "Nature's God" and the "Creator" of men in the Declaration of Independence). Some more socially conservative Christian sects, such as the Christian Reconstructionist movement, oppose the concept of a "wall of separation" and prefer a closer relationship between church and state.

Problems also arise in U.S. public schools concerning the teaching and display of religious issues. In various counties, school choice and school vouchers have been put forward as solutions to accommodate variety in beliefs and freedom of religion, by allowing individual school boards to choose between a secular, religious or multi-faith vocation, and allowing parents free choice among these schools. Critics of American voucher programs claim that they take funds away from public schools, and that the amount of funds given by vouchers is not enough to help many middle and working class parents.

U.S. judges often ordered alcoholic defendants to attend Alcoholics Anonymous or face imprisonment. However, in 1999, a federal appeals court ruled this unconstitutional because the A.A. program relies on submission to a "Higher Power".

Thomas Jefferson also played a large role in the formation of freedom of religion. He created the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, which has since been incorporated into the Virginia State Constitution.

seems like thats part of the constitution to me.
