I bet so, Jt. We got many without power in several counties. Entergy trucks all and down the highways because of Thursday night snowstorms. The radio is warning drivers to look out for the utility workers repairing the lines.

My dad was a welding instructor in the Army. We used to take old car bodies and make trailers out of them with a blow torch and lincoln 220 arc welder. I got the welder when my dad passed away which started out red but when I got it was pink because it had been in the desert for many years in El Paso, Texas. Dad was proficent at all types of welding but I liked heliarc the best when I worked at Tysons in Green Forest. I got to spend whole weeks welding nothing but chicken shackles which were stainless steel. At the end of the day I would pull up the hood and my eyes would burn. But then the shop foreman got me a darker lens. Then we got the new hoods which were supposed to darken automatically when one arced up. Which was cool until one day the hood didn't. Found out that just a scratch on lens can blind one if is not aware of the scratch.

I am, too. Even where I work we have been hearing about this new flu bug that we have been vacinated against. Last night a nurse was telling me that one can get the shot for one variety but the cost oh my. I am just glad it wasn't that variety that I had.

Knock on wood! I've avoided the flu for the last two years, and no vaccination.
