The Breastplate of Righteousness

Also called the breastplate of faith and love.

Also likened to the Church as the Bride of Christ.

Like a full breasted woman.

full of the sincere milk of the Word.

for babes, with grace and truth.

True, man may be the example of faith for all to see. Courage and confidence and tenacity and the strength and character of content to endure all things.

And true, women are the emotional reservoir of love and tenderness and nurturing that melts Kings and nourishes the young and feeble and their tenderness dresses wounds with compassion and sympathy.

Together, they display the righteousness of qualities of God's best to man in the heart of Jesus.

Our weapons are not carnal.

Our sword is the Word of God, in Christ Jesus and for His name's sake.

Our warfare is a spiritual one and begins with our family.

To protect and to defend and to nurture and flourish and prosper.

Our work is towards the disadvantaged and the underpriveleged and to the halt and the lame and the doors of our hearts are open to strangers and our substance is available to whosoever will.

We are a peculiar people.

A holy nation.


and as for myself,




The love of God is an all-consuming fire and intoxicating.

The love of a woman is all encompassing and intoxicating.

Together, they both are joy unspeakable.





I am consumed by both and overcome but not overwhelmed......

intoxicated and addicted and not wanting for being at rest.....


on so many levels, these things are marvelous and awesome.....

and worthy of their apprehension.






Thank you, Jesus, for calling me to your table and inviting me to come and dine in your house, my Lord and King.


truly your bounty is prosperous and abundant above all things.

I am thankful and grateful for your leadership and guidance.

Your faithfulness does sustain me.

Your love does make me whole.

My mouth is full of praise to your name.

My heart is full of your presence.

My hunger and thirst for your truth is insatiable and unquenchable.

BUILDING THE BRIDGE FOR HIM

An old man, traveling a lone highway,
Came at the evening cold and gray.
To a chasm deep and wide.

The old man crossed in the twilight dim,
For the sullen stream held no fears for him,
But he turned when he reached to other side,
And builded a bridge to span the tide.

"Old man," cried a fellow pilgrim near,
"You are wasting your strength with building here;
Your journey will end with the ending day,
And you never again will pass this way.

"You have crossed the chasm deep and wide.
Why build you a bridge at eventide? "

Hi everyone......have had a rough could of days. Our dear friend next door casey had his home destroyed by fire yesterday......He is staying with us.....We did loose one of the dogs....which of course has been very hard.......But the Lord was with us and this is why. Casey who is my neighbor my daughter Sammantha and her friend Lindsey went down to petsmart on Saturday afternoon.....two minutes after they left Casey's house there were two huge explosions.......They could of still been there so God was with them no doubt.....and this made the happiest Mother's day ever.......

I will be trying to help casey as much as I can to take care of things.....so not on as much as I would like......
