...call me "Pookie!" I know that invites a barrage of that very word here, and there have been dozens of "Pet Peeve" threads. I'm a big fan of endearment terms regarding friendly connection, lust, and indeed love. Please just don't use baby talk unless "close to infant" animals are around. Any other "Just Dont's"?

Not a big fan of "pet" names either. A girlfriend once tried to give me a "pet" name. "how about ---"??? No! "Maybe ____"? Nope! "We could try _______"???? NOT happening!!! "What do you think of _____"? What do you think of shoving a carrot up your nose??? The relationship did not last long.

For me, Cupcake, Kitten, Bunny, Princess, Love, Angel, Dumpling, Darling, Beautiful, Baby, Doll, Honey, Sugar, Dear, Pumpkin, sweetheart, Sweetie, Gorgeous, any of the dirty or degrading ones are off the table… lol Calling me be my name is cool you know or some of those are more tolerable than others.

I hate princess too @Gia It's ridiculous and sounds juvenile. Unless one is actually a princess like Princess Di, Ann, Margaret Kate calling someone that is not sounds silly. And Angel...
