Age certainly DOES matter. Not usually in something around 6 to 9 years if your both over I would say 22 or 23. But if your a guy around 60, and your girlfriend is around 25, You got no business together. The old guy mind set is so much at a different point than the 25 yr old. I mean if it's just about having some fun for a little while thats fine. But when you start thinking about marraige and stuff like that it's ridiculous. Yea, i'm speaking of personal knowledge. The girl wants a family one day. That man already has grandkids. No way in hell that lasts. It's not beautiful, it's just wrong

Who here thinks age is just a #? You can have different views on it, I'm just trying to see what everyone thinks about say..6+ years differeance between a couple.

Age is the #1 determining factor in this site IMO

Age is way more than a number. It is life experience. Now some people seem older and some people seem younger. So there is wiggle room. At my age, 6 years isn't too much. But people my parents age? Well, that is too much. And people I'm almost old enought to be a parent to, that is also too much.

when i was 19, i went out with this 30 yr old. she wanted some fun and thats it. i was similar to you as i didn't like alot of stuff most of the people my age liked. frankly i thought they were childish. but you do have to find a crowd and hang out, the older women will come your way. but just remember that your gonna get older and the women will too. lol

b/c even based on looks if you're like 31 and a girl/guy you like is 19 you may just overlook them. I think age matters a lot more than everyone else does b/c a lot of girls who are like 20-22 near me all have their age parameters set as 20+ meaning I can't even e-mail them showing they have no interest in someone younger.

Yea I know a lot of girls who would never consider younger guys i'm friends with one. I don't know I'm totally open minded to any age as long as it's not too young where it's illegal or immoral. I just think it's harder being around like 19-20 b/c dating younger girls who are like 16-17 is seen as wrong and girls who are like 21-23 won't look at you because you're younger.

you sound alot like me. I remember thinking that i could meet someone and get married at a your age. and i could have. i would have stayed married too. it's just that not many people are ready for that at your age. in fact theres not many women ready for that at 25-27 or so. you will catch up over time, and they will catch up with you. it sux, just try to have some fun in the meentime.

Aahaha, so true, its not like I have anything againts peers my age, just most of them have an IQ of 7. Their main focus in life is getting hammered and getting laid. Not exactly a fuflling life if you ask me.
