Very true ZStar....drunk people are funny to watch. It's free entertainment. I've got a story but I'll make it short. When I was in college, my fraternity brothers and I played a prank on people at one of our parties. The FIRST barrel of beer that we put out on the floor was NON ALCOHOLIC beer....we wanted to see how many people THOUGHT they were drunk after a while. And you would be SURPRISED at the result. We had MANY MANY laughs just by watching people say how messed up they were and there was no alcohol in the beer. Can you say DUH!!! But, then we told everyone and brought out the REAL stuff and then the party was back to normal.laugh laugh

age is just a number to a point...i would not want to be with someone who is say more than 20yrs older than me because i want someone who i can spend my life with. i dont want to be with someone who is statistically more likely to die way before me. and i find for the most part that men even 6 months younger than me to be immensly less mature and so i do not date younger men. but 6yrs is not that much of an age difference. my dad was 12yrs older than my mom and if he were still alive today i am positive they would still be married. they were married for 15yrs when he died. drinker happy new year

As you get older the age difference is not as significant. More important are a match in energy level and spirit. Some are old before their time. Worn down by life. However, I agree that 6+ years is a significant difference for younger people. It's a question of life experience and frame of reference.
Well, the 6 years was just a random # thrown out there. Reason I asked is becasue I'm 19, but I have nothing in common with other 19 year olds. I don't drink, I don't party, I have a full time job, ect. Thus girls my age think I'm lame, and older ones wont give me time of day. I hope that came across correctly
LOL i get what your sayin but still even if your 19 if you got the maturity and you match with the women dont let any age stop you..only thing you might find awkward is maybe being older then her son but hey lol
I agree I don't let it stop me, but if a girl was 24-26, she is the one that has an issue with it, and its petty common I've found

I think whats going to be hard for you is this...you are 19 and not allowed to go into the bars yet. I think a lot of the younger people like to go out to the bars and maybe thats why they won't date you?? I think once you hit 21 you will find that the age factor won't be so bad.
Don't worry, you have plenty of time to worry about dating and settling down. I read your profile and I think you have a great plan going!! Worry about your education and then worry about women!! Keep up your plan and you will do just fine flowerforyou
Well, even if I was 21 why would I go to a bar seing as I dont drink? Lol

You can still go into a bar and not drink...besides you just said that you did drink and hangovers are not fun!! I am just saying it is hard to meet girls your age or even older...I think the younger generation is pretty wild.
I have a son that is in his first year of college and he said that the girls are pretty crazy. Of course I think my son is right there with them!! He did say though that he would never settle down with a college girl because they are to free to spread the love!!!
I think you just need to relax and just let things happen. Worry about getting your education and when the time is right, you will meet the right one!!

I love a man that is 14 yrs younger than I am. He is more mature and mentally and physically stimulating than any man I have ever loved before. I dont know how much that says about my maturity level, but I really dont want to grow up anyway...lol At first I was very concerned about the age difference but come to realize I was mainly worried about what everybody else thought.....and why should that matter. I say lets follow our hearts and things will work out just fine. I think you'd be much happier with a more mature woman anyway....Good luck in your search.

oops...this is me accidentally posting under my mans acct......quess I'm busted....lmao

To be realistic, age really does matter depending on your preference. If you want a good companion to grow up with, get a older person (meaning probably a person within 10 years older at least) to help guide you but if you want someone to easily keep in check and (frankly) to control then go youunger. That's what I think but not everyone has to agree to what I said. Well, Happy New Year people!

Well, whats the point of a relationship if your gonna control them? Why not get a robot instead?

Age certainly DOES matter. Not usually in something around 6 to 9 years if your both over I would say 22 or 23. But if your a guy around 60, and your girlfriend is around 25, You got no business together. The old guy mind set is so much at a different point than the 25 yr old. I mean if it's just about having some fun for a little while thats fine. But when you start thinking about marraige and stuff like that it's ridiculous. Yea, i'm speaking of personal knowledge. The girl wants a family one day. That man already has grandkids. No way in hell that lasts. It's not beautiful, it's just wrong
