From the article: "Rep. Tom Rice (R-S.C.) in an interview broadcast on Sunday said he would consider supporting former President Trump again if Trump apologies for the Jan 6, 2021, attack at the Capitol."

From CNN:

"Former President Donald Trump has made it clear he is looking for cover from his closest allies around the upcoming public hearings by the House select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection -- and some prominent names in Congress and the Republican Party are answering the call.

Trump's team has communicated to some of his most loyal acolytes on Capitol Hill that the former President wants people vigorously defending him and pushing back on the select committee while the public hearings play out, according to GOP sources familiar with the request."

lol, stirring up controversy here are we? lol

Those who voted against Trump are the ones who should be apologizing. Trump was right on most (not all) things. Just take a look at the state of affairs this country is in after just one year of Biden. Whomever can't see it just has their head in the sand, is overly emotional, or is just ignorant of current events. Sorry, not sorry.

. They see it and most of all they feel it financially like all Americans, but their hatred and fear of Donald Trump outweighs their sense of right and wrong. Until Donald Trump is completely out of the picture you can expect this to continue…. Constantly pointing fingers and deflecting blame is not a winning strategy it’s a whining strategy .

Sure enough I'm not here for a couple of weeks, I come back and it's the same clueless BS being repeated.

There is nothing good about Trump, period.

Our forfathers would have hung him a year ago!

Tell me I'm wrong................

You are so Wrong.. again and again and again. The crisis of crime, high prices, and the failure of our schools is all due to joe Biden and the ridiculous anti-American policies being forced on us by a group of people that don’t know their *** from a hole in the ground. Trump was a godsend compared to the clown in the White House now.

They will never agree. Even if all the evidence shows he's guilty, they will call it a hoax.

their isn’t any evidence showing that he is guilty of trying to overthrow the government. He is no more guilty than some of the democratic politicians that could be accused of instigating riots in 2019 and 2020. Trump even asked for the several thousand national gaurdsmen to be deployed around the Capitol on Jan. 3 because he understood that it could get bad , but Nancy pelosi denied that request. Why would trump want national guard there if he was gonna overthrow. Just because they twist the facts to paint a pretty picture doesn’t make it real or true. The circus on the hill now is nothing but a 3rd world kangaroo court , it’s all one sided. In the world of democrats I think liberty has her blindfold off .

Can you show your proof of the trump national guard request because apparently not even the Pentagon is aware of such a request.

of corse you haven’t heard of this because the liberal news networks only report what helps the Biden agenda and not what could hurt it. Fox News reports THE news no matter what it is . You cannot say the same about the other networks. If you giggle “ did Trump want to send national guard to Capitol before Jan. 6” you will learn the truth. Please don’t keep depending on the fake news to learn the whole truth.

Fox news is entrainment, not news. And NO I don't watch liberal networks either. I research and make my decisions accordingly.
As far as kangaroo remarks on the hearings...
They are showing TFG's people telling us what happened in their own words & people that were there.
I wish you wouldn't be so closed minded that you've decided after only 1 hearing.
Worse yet, you're not watching at all and are bias.
Bad jury member you would be, I would not want you on my jury.

From McDougal v. Fox News Network, LLC, No. 1:2019cv11161 - Document 39 (S.D.N.Y. 2020):

"Fox News first argues that, viewed in context, Mr. Carlson cannot be understood to have been stating facts, but instead that he was delivering an opinion using hyperbole for effect. . .

This "general tenor" of the show should then inform a viewer that he is not "stating actual facts" about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in "exaggeration" and "non-literal commentary."

Fox persuasively argues, see Def Br. at 13-15, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer "arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism" about the statements he makes."

What kind of person would make such an idiotic statement?

Oh, R-S.C., I guess that answers my question.

Extra salt and butter on mine please.

Yes we will. But what will the Dems here be saying when the Republicans take dozens of seats from the Dems in November?
