The G7 summit is just a few miles down the road from me this year, widely regarded by the locals as a pain in the arz.
loads of shiny shoes and drones, expensive cars, suits and endless forms of id to go any where. What makes me laugh is that a bunch of world leaders are staying in the same shabby hotel that i used for a works do. St Ives is like a blast from the past, tiny cobbled streets, pokey little houses,pokey little shops. Crazy place to have a summit. Maybe the scenery and quaintness will inspire some different thinking.Who knows just a thought. |

It's a good beach as well. I could probably swim around the headland and do a streak across the beach. That would get my face seen lol

OT. So it is in picketing distance? Shakes beard there is still time to organise a protest for anything you want. I will give you a £1000 if you protest for the local nudist club to use the beach....

Not much of a friend am I lol.... our guy JT need not worry , he has nothing to loose either, he already lost all, but now he needs to create a distraction from his incompetence and scandals he got himself into ..... |

WoW, nice topic, though I'd like it to be in the "Politics, Current News and Events" thread! Nevertheless, as you are located so near to the place of the summit, would love to know your feelings about the goings about. Especially, climate change.

Couldn't they then have chosen an uninhabited island as opposed to the only place left with descendants from the real Britons... I hope they get served a full English for breakfast and lunch, with loads of black pudding, and a choice of either kidney pie or haggis for dinner
