hello River How has your week been going? Anything exciting going on? Itβs a nice day here , not very humid, thankfully! Is there very much smoke from the wildfires where you are? Yesterday we had some that had actually blown all the way over here....and it went to New York as well! Iβm praying for lots of rain π§ to go where itβs needed! So take care and enjoy your day! |

Hi Dee My week was a tad stressful, there was a situation at work with an employee. It's all sorted out, but the end result means I have to work extra hours. Fortunately though, it's not every week. I'll be taking turns with the other opener every other Friday. Hopefully they will find us another employee to take the place of the one that left. The smoke comes and goes. I read about it reaching the East Coast, that's crazy. Today it was pretty bad on my way to Riverton. You could barely see the mountains. I don't have air conditioning in my car, had to leave the windows open and it started bothering my eyes a bit. So far though, there aren't any fires in Wyoming. It did rain a bit the last couple days, but not enough to lessen the high risk of fires. Glad you have a nice day. Hopefully it will continue to stay nice for you. And yes, I'm praying for lots of rain as well. Have a wonderful rest of the week. |

If you use FB as reference for photos you have to make sure the posts of them on FB is set to PUBLIC and not "Friends".
I'd just use Imgur. You do not need an account to upload and then post the link here. It does allow you to reduce size and/or crop although sometimes it still links the original larger picture and I have to do it a 2nd time. But at least it's free :) |

Thanks Crystal... I do have my photos set for public, so I'm not sure why they disappear here. Maybe when I add more or when someone comments on them it changes the link address?
I've not heard of Imgur, but I will check it out. Thanks again. :) |

The URL of FB does do weird things that are often not copy-able to Mingle. I've noticed that before.
If I quote one of your post previous with photos the IMG URL is still there but when pasted in Google it says this: "URL signature expired" FB image links often start with 'https:/scontent....' Whenever I want to copy/paste an image for a forum but see that come up I know it isn't going to work. I think FB changed this a while back to make sure their content stays on FB only? Really annoying.... As for your work situation... I hope they find a new employee!! |

That might be the reason, or they do it for security reasons, to limit the amount of hacking others photos??? I hope they find someone as well. I am the only one willing to work extra hours, aside from my boss who has no choice. |

I hope you will be able to see the big olβ gigantic full moon out there tonight! Iβve been looking for it to come up over the hilltop nearby. There are lots of trees that have lots of leaves on them, and itβs a little bit cloudy too..... so I hope I get to see it! I would love to have a really nice powerful telescope to look through. Maybe somebody can post some pics of it.....Iβm keeping my fingers crossed π€! |

I'll do my best. Crystal posted one from last night in here Lion's Gate Thread.
It's not cloudy here, but pretty smokey. It's snuffed out the sun quite a bit, so I'm not sure how it will affect the moon. Fortunately where it's coming up isn't too bad, so perhaps I'll get a good picture. I hope the clouds clear up for you so you get a chance to see it. |

It is quite horrific. I just read there are wildfires in Canada too, 5700 people evacuated.
Combined with Oregon, that's a helluva lot of smoke from the northern half of the continent! And fire of course. Apart from the disaster for people I also feel for animals and insects etc. Plants and trees usually recover very well, but if we lose loads of trees, and very old trees... We've already lost so much in that sense in the Amazon and Siberia last year (or was it the year before?)... Let's hope all these fires will die down very soon!! Isn't it ironic that here we have (had) an excess of water and serious flooding and over there you have to deal with wildfires. |

@ Crystal.... I know! The fire situation is absolutely horrendous! I believe it was last year that there were lots of fires out west. I hadn't heard about it making itβs way to Canada It would be great if some of the torrential rains would make its way to wherever itβs needed. I also feel bad for the animals and such who are losing their habitat.... Having faith that things will get better soon! Oh, and I did get to see the moon last night! It was beautiful... Iβd heard that the smoke made it appear very red in some places. |

Ironic indeed, Crystal. The smoke is really bad again today. I can only imagine what it's like where the fires actually are.
An interesting fact I learned about a couple weeks ago is that the National Parks have a policy about letting the fire burn. The fires help reducing dead vegetation and stimulates new growth. They keep an eye on the fire and unless it poses a threat to people, park infrastructures, or communities, they let it burn. Apparently if the fire is caused by humans, they put those out. But fires that happen from natural causes, like lightning, they let them burn. Here's a cool article I found that talks more about it. https://www.nps.gov/subjects/fire/upload/benefits-of-fire.pdf |

While it's sad, there's also benefits to why the park services allow them to continue to burn. It helps balance out the ecosystem. I felt much the same way as you until I learned more about the importance of the fires and how they help. It's still sad though that the animals have to find new habitats until their old ones start vegetating again. |

Dee
My weekend is going good so far. Had a chance to have a long talk with my boss yesterday and decided not to quit I seem to have forgotten to add a little fun to my life That, and discovering I really don't like working in retail, it's just familiar and I'm good at it. So for the next couple months I'll be exploring other career options, and doing something enjoyable each day. Embracing things I love to do will be top priority. Ironically, my friend stopped by after I got out of work yesterday. He asked if I wanted to go for a short hike. We hiked three miles, holy cow I'm out of shape Despite my achy body, it was a really nice hike, got to see a bunch of ducks in a pond, and getting a little exercise and fresh air was just what I needed. On Tuesday, I'll be going square dancing with a couple of friends.... had to go and open my big mouth about needing to have more fun. And on Thursday if there is availability, I'll go river rafting, and horseback riding on Friday. It was cooler the last week, but it's expected to warm up again in the middle of the week. We had a couple of thunderstorms that brought some major hail with it. The entire ground was covered in hail, looked like it snowed, lol. That's awesome about your 40th HS reunion, I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, time has really gone by. I've never gone to any of my reunions. My high school is in Upstate New York, and I haven't been back there in many years. Time to get ready for work... Have wonderful rest of your weekend, Dee. |

You considered quitting your job? I thought you liked it there.
But wanting to do what makes you happy is completely in sync with the current Lion's Gate. The whole ascension thing of course, but the Lion's Gate highlights it, -especially this year! I'm feeling it too. I gave up what I was doing with my YT channel almost 2 months ago now. I had been thinking about that for a long long time. You know, Taurus... not quitting when you should hihi. I changed my routine, but it just didn't grow anymore, if nothing else it was going down. And after a while I had enough. What I do deserves credit and appreciation, not just from a few regular followers that I DO appreciate btw, but it deserve a helluva lot more! I'm worthy of that. But I wasn't clear if it was me having to hang on and continue and then... OR if it was Spirit letting me know it wasn't the right thing. Now I've stopped I have so much peace inside!! Then yesterday it suddenly dawned on me that I should stop focusing on giving courses and inspirational speeches etc. Sure, I like that, but is that REALLY what I want to totally invest in? As in years on end? Answer I'm getting now is "no!" So what if I let go of that too? What beautiful new will then rise on the horizon!?! I recently got a Elen of the Ways statue, which is also about your paths, your way. And just now I got the card Archangel Aurora, welcome new beginnings (!!!), let the sun shine in your life. Wowza! This portal is so powerful! I'm taking in the blue light from Sirius that's coming in strong now, from my Stellar Gateway chakra to my Earth Star. Sending Light to us both finding our way, our True North!! |

BTW also important, something I've known for years, but keep putting my foot in, hihi: STOP asking!! Asking once is enough. The Universe has heard it and answers immediately!
The only reason it doesn't happen right away is that the asker is still focusing on the question and with that not at signs, and thus not letting the answer in. I'm now deliberately focusing on that, seeing signs, relaxing as I do that, and NO MORE asking, haha. |

Good point Crystal, focus on the signs, not the question. I'm reading Esther and Jerry Hicks' book, "Ask and It Is Given", it speaks of pretty much the same thing.
I'm also working on my Archangel class, this weeks lesson has to do with learning more about your life purpose and then living it is next week's lesson. Archangel Metatron is helping me to start doing the things I love to do again, and embrace that. About the signs though... there's always a visualization and card reading at the end of each lesson. It's a three card reading, answering specific questions. I go with the cards she draws rather than using my own deck. The first question was, "How can I feel confident and happy about giving high priority to my own needs?" The card she drew was "Career Change", haha. Last week I did a card reading, using my decks, and they all pointed to the same thing. New Beginnings, stepping into the unknown, leap of faith, and embracing the inner spirit. It truly is all in perfect alignment with the Lion's Gate, and the new moon. I started thinking that it meant I was to leave right away, and now would be ideal cosmically. But, another card I drew was the "Wise One" from my Angel and Ancestor deck, it said to grow in my current situation. "Broken Arrow" showed up, meaning I'm to stop fighting and shielding myself, trust that I'm in a safe place to work things through so I am able to move forward, when it's time. So, I'm staying until my contract is over, in October. I was guided here for a reason, leaving short of my contract is not having faith that Spirit and the Universe have my back and are going to continue leading me in the right direction. The signs all point to staying on my current path, relaxing, embracing things that I love to do, and trusting that it will all unfold in divine time. I too, am sending light to the both of us finding our way, our True North. |

Sounds good :)
And that wisdom did come from Esther/Abraham hihi. Someone told me I should turn to that in 2015 and I looked her up, found her interview with Wayne Dyer. I was sold! I then watched entire workshops on YouTube (not allowed anymore now btw) that were between 9-12 hrs long!! I was watching day in day out for months on end. And I got to an incredibly high vibration, lost it early 2016 and never got to that same high vibe since. AA Metatron is wonderful! He's very high up, the highest AA in the ranks, below the Seraphim. He's the only AA that has had a physical life on Earth. No other angel or AA has had that. I've worked with him since 2009 when I came across Diana Cooper who has a visualisation of him on YouTube. Anywho, sounds like a good decision to not leave in a rush. What would you do then? You need an income and a place to live, so you'd likely end up doing the same in a different location. Once you know what you want to do you can start setting that up, and then go for it. Some people do jump in the deep just like that, but in the meantime you got to live somewhere and pay bills even if only food. And all people who boldly claim they just did it, quit their jobs etc. etc. all had either a high paid job or a partner that made money and supported them in their endeavours. Anywho, you'll figure it out :) Divine timing. And as Abraham says: make peace with where you are, appreciate that, love it, be grateful for it as then you get to the vibration where the new you want can come in. |
