You have to use your imagination or get creative with Lockdown restrictions in place. |

I am going to invite myself out to a romantic dinner on Valentine's Day but if I get too forward with myself I will tell myself that I have a headache.

Well... Originally Valentine's day was about sending an anonymous card. There's no reason you can't do that, if you have someone to send such a card to of course.

Ima gonna spend some serious couch time with a big sack of leftover Halloween candy.

I remember our first Valentines Day as a married couple about a century ago.
I went all out! Flowers, Gift, booked Intimate exclusive restaurant well in advance and in a different State. Flight tickets and Hilton suite accommodation. Although sooooo appreciative, my lovely lady cleared the air, advising me that Valentines Day was meant for Secret Admirers.? Is this true or still true today? |

The romance side of it, can be awesome.
The predatory commercial side of it, can suck wind from my rectal cavity. |

I am the only one available so I have to take a chance with me, but if I get an inclination that I will be fresh with me, I will take action and make myself wish I never was out of line with me. |

It helped keep the romance strong. |

Everyday I am with my GF is Valentine's Day. I'm just a romantic person.
This year, it falls on a Sunday. Sunday is our super meal day and cuddle night anyhow. She likes my Plum Sauce Lamb dinner. I have two lamb steaks ready. Last year, I got her a stuffed cuddle puppy. This year I'm getting her a stuffed cuddle bear. We spend weekends together. She loves her cuddle puppy because it reminds her of me when we are apart. I don't want anything. Her gift to me is her presence and how she interacts with me. Our sex is still passionate. Just her being her is her greatest gift and I am fortunate to have met her. |

Is this true or still true today? It indeed is supposed to be about an anonymous card or very small gift at the most, but in the old days a card was already special and a gift. And the anonymous means it is great for secret admirers. So you wouldn't write a name on it either, having the receiver guess who sent it. Commerce made it into this big thing as the anonymous didn't make them money. |

For me it's kinda like any other holiday. As a kid it was awesome. As an adult, meh. Originally Valentine's day was about sending an anonymous card. There's no reason you can't do that, if you have someone to send such a card to of course.
I enjoy keeping that tradition alive. There are billions of people on the planet. I will always have someone. I especially enjoy sending the anonymous box of candy and card to random strangers on Valentines Day. One of those giant 4 ft by 2 ft cards with something special written in calligraphy like: "I want you to know how special and loved you are. That box of candy could easily have been a bomb. Or poisoned. But I care! Happy Valentines Day!" |
