There is no prerequisite or pressure to follow trends ..,

I gravitate to what appeals to me and avoid what doesn’t . Sometimes I even make my own trends ., laughing .

Well cat that's two things we have in common, Neil Young and I hate trends and fads and other phoney shlt.
I don't grow stupid little beards because it's trendy, I don't wear funny hats because someone says it's cool, over all I just hate fake.
I believe fashion is for women.
Quality withstands the test of time.

I'm thinking faces will be covered with masks for at least another year so that can be good or bad depending on who they are. I'm still rocking the quarantine hair cut, and if we can't go any where why bother with fasion? Guys in trench coats? What's hiding underneath? Never mind, don't want to know! Been wearing Levis, Nikes, and T's most of my life and can dig the bomber jacket out, other then that I don't foresee a need to purchase a new wardrobe in the near future.

There is nothing phoney or fake about having an interest in fashion or wanting to try new styles or even fads . It is like anything in life .. some are more receptive to experimenting and change . ., others are not .

I know plenty of fashionable men with a creative sense that translates to not just appearance but also swag and personal identity .

I think it is cute to see what comes back in fashion from the past .. usually with a slight twist . I cannot imagine jeans and tees ever going out of fashion ., jeans have to be one of the most versatile items of clothing ever invented .

I think some men look sexy hot with a man bun drool: but yes it very much comes down to personal preference and what you find attractive .

I usually ended up cutting off the shoulder pads, most would get clumpy after going through the washer, lol. But, maybe I'll check them out again.

I'm excited to see a trend for headscarves, although I don't need a trend to wear headbands or scarves, I've been wearing them already this past year. It will just be fun to shop for something different or unique. :)

Oversized shoulderpad jackets as shown on that page can be great when you are taller, esp since the ones shown are longer. And depending on what you wear with it. The combination on the left I do like.

I don't follow fashion as I often don't like it at all.

I remember when in Florida at the Pensacola boulevard ... these tourist shops... the clothes they sold were gorgeous! Back home I decided to go shopping but I found nothing like it. Instead I found a clothing style that my gran might have liked

What I did and still do love is the (European) 80s fashion, including hair-styles for women. The bigger hair If only that came back!

PS the white overknee boots are gorgeous! I LOVE overknee boots! As it is I got dark brown suede ones. And if not overknee boots, I like to wear overknees (socks).

I'm not necessarily a fan, but it much depends on the man. Like some men can get away with long hair and others look horrible with it.
I can even appreciate short beards these days, hihi, but not sure if I'd appreciate it on my man.

Thank goodness this is usually just what designers come up with and you never find it in real life.

For women, the head scarf...I remember women wearing them in the 70s to protect their hair after they'd done 'em with rollers/curlers.
But seeing them back at this moment in time is almost what I'd feared: the Muslim look: headscarf & face mask. We'll all look like Muslimas

The male fashions look hilariously bad .

It might've been a wee bit better if they'd hung it on better looking and/or better built men. They all look like sissy boys with underdeveloped shoulders, hihi.
