There are the fishes and the loaves. The sustaining weight (fat) and the redeeming weight (muscle and nerve). One of way to get nerves to grow back to normal is to increase everything. Might be a bit of a crude method, but it maybe that is he reason.

This might explain it a bit for anti depressants, at least for Mirtazipine ( also known as remeron apparently, sounds like a villain from flash Gordon or something to me )
You know how they're forever banging on about serotonin and dopamine, and chemically imbalanced, blah blah
Well, according to t' internet , there are 15 serotonin receptor sites in your body
These are classified in 3 different groups
These 3 groups come under exciting titles as
5HT1
5HT2
And yes, if you haven't fallen asleep or slit your wrists, then you've guessed it..
5HT3

Now, it's this last 1, that I'd like to draw your attention to children,it's 1 of the 1s that our friend flash Gordon's nemesis ( in a muddle? Thank you paul weller) affects
I shall cut and paste a couple of juicy titbits from said t'interweb thingy mejig ( it's very high tech you know, no wires...look, or mirrors)

The most important being the effect blocking the receptors has on the hypothalamus in the brain . The hypothalamus produces and secretes neurotransmitters (such as serotonin and dopamine ) . It also controls the endocrine system and release of important horomones that regulate homeostatic functions .....including temperature control , eating , metabolism , energy maintenance , and stress control. Both hormones and neurotransmitters are involved in the day to day functions of the body ...
Medications which block receptor cells involved in these processes alter the signals to the hypothalamus , which affects the amount of hormones released , and changes the action response of the hormone . If those receptors are linked to energy ., then a disruption would produce fatigue ... if metabolic then blood sugar., fat metabolism and appetite would be affected . Similarly if receptor cells are blocked by the action of a medication then neurotransmitters cannot bind to the receptor site and the chemical message they send is altered . The feedback loop to the brain is disrupted and the hypothalamus responds accordingly by either increasing or decreasing hormones and neurotransmitter release . It is a very complex system that endeavours to maintain equilibrium .

The other important factor is genetics . The number and type of regulator cells a person has is controlled by genetics . Some people will be affected more than others simply because of their genetic makeup .. in this scenario .. the H2TCR gene which regulates serotonin receptors is an important determinant in individual response to antipsychotic medication uptake .

Lifestyle choices around diet and exercise , stress , sleep etc are likely contributors to weight gain /fatigue ..the influence Lifestyle has should not be discounted .

Oh I'm sure there's more. Like I said, they love the fuc$ing greeks. What with their bull$hit oath and what not. No, they don't expect you to have heard of such things as the hypothalamus or the pituitary gland when they try to bamboozle you with a few explanations, your supposed to be amazed and not horrified by there technical genius and wisdom. You know the bodybuilders go through bulking and cutting phases. The muscle eats the fat, and they get down to around 5% bodyfat.

Bodybuilders are nuts. They have terrible bones, bad hearts, and no stamina.
I don't know what percent fat I was at 9 or 9 and a half stone, but it must surely have been zero, there was just none, anywhere.
And yeah, you might be right mate, thing is, these things really mess up your metabolism, when your metabolism is messed up, you really don't feel like doing much, anything is way more effort. Which kind of begs the question, why do they do it? They do it on purpose, they aim to do it, they're pleased that they've done it. And getting information out of them is like trying to get blood from a stone. So the whole thing just becomes circular and creates a vicious cycle.
Anyway, back to the question at hand, in simple layman's terms please, not some form of double Dutch legalese designed to make you sound far more smart than you actually are whilst sending people to sleep.
Deduction, 2 hypothese
1) it's a secret, so, they won't tell you, they'll just try to baffle you with bull$hit.

Given the recent locked threads you posted and your history of threads in general I'm wondering if you are on a quest to convince us of yur insanity?
My question is "what do you have to gain?".

Its obvious you are not currently in "the nuthouse" because you have the freedom of being on a dating site.

Its obvious you are intelligent and capeable of reasoning because you are able to have intelligent conversations with us. Meaning you can communicate your intent so we can understand you.

For all intents and purposes you appear to be a normal guy on a dating site. Perhaps a bit weird but hey, so am I.
My point is, nobody would know you were insane or "in the nuthouse" except you tell us so at any opportunity. Why? What do you hope to gain?

If you are looking for pity to find a date, pity is a poor relationship motivator and has no shelf life.

Yours looks pretty good but you focus on your disability.
You could just say you are disabled, then when you start corresponding with someone and they ask, tell them the details.
You might be surprised at how many people are on some type of mental health medicine and seek counseling.

My point is, most of us who like you like you for reasons other than your mental health condition. You have a quirky sense of humor. You're friendly and forward. You have great conversational skills but your focus is on your mental health issues, which is a downer.

Your previous screen name related to Star Wars. If you are looking for something to talk about, topic starters, fantasy fiction, science fiction and stuff like that has no bill which becomes due. Even your current screen name implies a fantasy element.

Its possible you suffer a form of PTSD due to your past experiences. If you won't seek professional help with it, seek your own treatment. You obviously know how to find information on the web. We're not qualified to help you while on a dating site's forum.
(No offense to members who are mental health professionals)

I hope you get a handle on it all because I think you could be a great conversationalist and our forums need good conversations.

I started taking Diabetic Meds in 09. Went from 235 to 285 in just 2 years. Eating Habits did not change. Only now On Meds. Looked Physically the Same 235. Then Started to Drink "Sugar Free" Fluids in 2013 to try and loose the 50 I gained. Gained another 35 instead in 1yr (up to 320 now). Same Eating Habits. STOPPED Drinking "Sugar Free" BS in 2018, Lost 65 (down to 255) in Less than a Yr. Still Looked 235 but no one noticed.
2018 New Doctor Changed my Meds, Again, up to 310 now and Look it. Same Eating Habits. So, A Combination of Meds that Made me Diabetic and "Sugar Free" BS, I am Morbidly Obese. My Photo was taken After I gained back the 55, No longer looking the 235 but that of someone 300. I am Slowly Loosing it again (down to 285) but its Damn Hard and Damage has been done. I went from Looking 235 that whole time until the last 2yrs when I ballooned up. People Noticed.
