No. it's not weird or effeminate or 'girly', but erotic, sensual, sexy, and fun!
I am extremely ticklish and have always loved being tickled. A kid, teen, now a very mature adult. Being tickled or tickling has nothing to do with age, or even sex. It's just a highly pleasurable activity. So if you're ticklish, like being tickled or think you might like to be..........

No! No! No!
It is painful.
Just because the reaction begs laughter
does not mean it is pleasurable.
And it is one-sided.
And NOT a precursor to intimacy.

I absolutely agree with this! ^^^^
It is horrible and if the idiot who does it to you goes on for to long you cannot even breathe anymore.
I don't see how it can be arousing.

I have to say that I don’t find tickling pleasurable in the least.

Ladies, perhaps you just haven't been properly tickled.
There's a timing factor involved and it shouldn't be an assault but more of a sensation. A few light tickles on a sensitive spot can cause a very pleasurable sensation many find erotic.

I used to be very ticklish but pain has a way of muting that and now I am seldomly ticklish. If its done right tho, tickling turns me on.

Many people tickle by poking or pressing too hard.
Tickling is most effective when it excites the galvanic skin response when the person is unaware they are being touched or in a moment of passion.

I sleep with a loaded .45 under my pillow.

I live in a no tickle zone.

In the far east, it's a technique to master to make one offguard for disarming an opponent. That, and in one case, Yawning. Yawning actually won a battle.

Two people each definitely have to be into the tickle -and each other -or it's just weird and bad

Perhaps there should be a profile option where you can select Tickling: Yes/No/No Answer like smoking?

I prefer a good pillow fight with the old army surplus heavy feather pillows my dad used to get us. The perfect amount of whooomp -but still won't hurt.

Some find tickling just playful, but even those don't want it to go overboard -which it can very easily -especially if someone won't listen when you say stop.
