It's going to happen. I don't know why people try to connect with someone who is not a match. It is very frustrating, but some people just don't get it. Try not to let it get to you. It'll make your experience on here much easier. Just delete. Don't even read the message. That's what works for me.

i get pretty models too, but they're all fake. nothing more than something like the Nigerian prince scam.

seems like some of you, not necessarily Seamus, but some of the others have a real problem with people my age. yes, i qualify as a millennial, but I'm nothing like the others. i have no problem with older people, i wouldn't date anyone more than MAYBE 10 years older than i am, but any more, it's just too big a gap. some of my best friends are older.

I'm feelin' the love.

Here's the thing kid. It's not that "some people" have a problem with folks of a certain age. It's that nearly every day somebody posts that they are getting unwanted propositions. Either they are "old" and it's too many youngsters, or they are lesbians and it's too many men, or it's too many folks from the "wrong" country, or folks of the wrong color, or whatever.

It's a free site. You're bound to get mail you don't want. Delete, report the nastier ones, move on, and try to have a less antagonistic attitude on life.

This just got me thinking....

how human problems and concerns have changed over millennia...

people used to be happy with eating, being warm and surviving the day...

the roots of so-called modern problems existed, but if you did not get eaten by something or were not otherwise 86ed by nature or whatever/whoever else was trying to take you out, you were probably pretty happy about that and another day to consider the other things...

It is good that humans have this opportunity to consider higher things, but perhaps we are too safe. Maybe we need to make dinosaurs -let them run around and keep our issues in perspective... at least give us less free time to worry...

Then I could say
"I may be bald, chubby, sasquatch hairy, have more baggage than a traveling luggage salesman, etc.... but I outsmarted a dinosaur on the way home from work"

You're here, you're queer, everyone's some kind of queer... just be a good person and don't get eaten by dinosaurs.
