Meeting people is hard, especially right now, but it would be nice to meet some cute, single lesbians, make some new friends and maybe find the woman of my Dreams.

My name is Katie. I'm 28, going on 29 this month. not sure what luck, if Any i might find by posting here but i thought it was worth a shot. what i am looking for is someone preferably close in age, single, no kids, no cats (I'm rather allergic, it's hereditary). Must haves are as follows: a car, home (whether with family or friends or living alone) a Job or some source of income and most importantly good hygiene, you Must take care of yourself. I am NOT a gold digger nor am I looking for someone i have to support. Would like someone reasonably attractive, intelligent, funny, good hearted and great personality. these are All things i have to offer and more, so i expect no less from a potential partner. I am looking for someone who could be one of my best friends, someone i can share my life with and love with All my heart. i Do NOT want any one night stands, i am not looking for friends with benefits. I'm not perfect, but there is no one else out there like me. what you see is only part of what you get. So feel free to get to know me, single Ladies.

seems like some of you, not necessarily Seamus, but some of the others have a real problem with people my age. yes, i qualify as a millennial, but I'm nothing like the others. i have no problem with older people, i wouldn't date anyone more than MAYBE 10 years older than i am, but any more, it's just too big a gap. some of my best friends are older.

meanwhile saying that I'm whining and need to get over myself. i don't like people who are rude.
i am sorry i called you Methuselah, I shouldn't have. i get pretty models too, but they're all fake. nothing more than something like the Nigerian prince scam. |

i could care less what any of you internet trolls think of me. in other words, sit and spin...

Like bandit geezer said, we all have to put up with unwanted attention. I myself am plagued with unwanted hordes of twenty-something models . yeah right. how old are you, Methuselah? |

exactly, but Not everyone seems to get that. and just because someone Does have a car doesn't mean they want to risk wasting their time on someone who would probably stand them up as soon as they got there or were already halfway there. I have had guys tell me I am "too far"...when they are an hour or less away.. They say that anything more than 10-15 miles is "too far".. Sweetie...I used to drive 25 miles one way for *groceries*..so I sure as hell would drive *that* far for a date.. Also, they think nothing of driving a hour to work, or a ball game, but...a date? So..not wanting to bother with someone who lives an hour away...even if they seem promising and the two of you have a lot in common? I just don't get it. Of course, *I* don't agree to meet someone until we have chatted quite a bit, to ascertain that we DO have a reason to meet/ date..so, there's that.. Some people don;t do that..they meet up right away without determining if the two of you have enough in common to make it worthwhile.. To each their own....different strokes, & all that... See also: Those guys who want someone real local, like 5-10 minutes away.. Good luck finding *that* (in a rural area), but....Why, I asked a couple..? Because they want to be able to "drop by"... No darlin'..what you mean is, you want to be able to drop by for nookie whenever the notion strikes you, as supposed to having actual dates with someone, so..piss off.. the reason i Don't want to travel very far is because i have an old car and can't afford anything better. and most of the time these women i made the mistake of trying to date wanted ME to do ALL the travelling and they didn't want to make any effort to meet halfway or anything. i had to make All the plans and do all the driving which puts my car at risk of breaking down in an unfamiliar place with no way home. so yes, i don't want to travel more than an hour or so away. it is NOT worth me having to make All the effort. |

Wrong place for this thread
But welcome well, I'm new here, so maybe don't judge me. and as for the lady with the long reply, she's just going based off her experience. |

well, if men would just read the profiles instead of focusing on the profile pictures, they wouldn't waste their time or mine or any other lesbian's time.

i already did that.. and i did change my settings. i feel like blocking should be a last resort. Like if the person won't leave you alone and they're harassing you, then blocking is a good idea.

no kidding. most see a decent face and that's all they care about.

for now, it will have to do. i just don't want to hear from them.

I made it Perfectly clear that i am lesbian, but men just won't take the hint, much less be respectful of my wishes for them to Leave me Alone. It's Not my fault if YOU, men, Cannot Read...if a woman is gay or otherwise Not interested in you, Please be kind and Leave her alone. Go chase someone Else who's Actually Into men. Tired of people, Mostly Men, but some Women too, who act Thirsty.

Why is that So wrong? Why do people get so mad when someone turns them down because they live out of town or out of state? Did it EVER occur to anyone that the Real reason people are hesitant travel is because they have an Old car and can't afford anything new? I mean Really, it's nothing against you out of towners, some of us just Don't relish the thought of a possible breakdown in unfamiliar surroundings with No way home or to get their old cars fixed.
