Do hedgehogs like Christmas cake? If I gave it some, will it die? I just gave the hedgehog a little bit. If it comes back tomorrow night, how do I know it is the same hedgehog? Poor thing... why do that if you don't even know? I believe hedgehogs have delicate digestive systems. If you want to feed it then make sure it's something that doesn't harm them. I believe catfood is okay, but Google to make sure. |

Thinking... it's been a good day :) Went for my walk, did my fitness, dyed my hair, bought Christmas pressies for both my kids. (Took a lot of online shopping!)
Now going to bed and sleep under my warm duvet with flamingo print |

Thinking... having to wear a face mask sux. Had to wear it at the hair dressers and in the supermarket, compulsory since Dec 1st. How f*(king uncomfortable!!
My left ear started aching and that was after wearing it for some 45 minutes. I see many wearing it with nose uncovered and many plucking at the danged thing as it's not comfortable. I'm gonna think about having groceries delivered... |

The VA suspended billing in the spring.
They said it was to 'help' with the pandemic. I just got a letter stating I owe them for 3/4 of a year charges by the end of the year. I would rather have recieved normal billing this year than to get a huge bill at the end of the year. How is that helping with anything? I had no idea the charges would be so high because I had no running tally. If they truly cared about vets, they would have sent billing as normal but included a payment deferral option for those who need it. Being on fixed income, I could have kept my bill paid as normal. Now I am faced with a huge charge and starting on the new year, normal billing resumes which includes late fees and penalties for unpaid balances. Plus, for those working vets, the pandemic isn't over yet. Many still have back bills for other things to pay. Many are still struggling, still out of mainline employment. Do they think the pandemic issues go away just because they want to balance their books? /end rant |

The bottom line: what can hedgehogs not eat?
Hedgehogs canβt eat highly acidic foods like citrus fruits and pineapples. They canβt consume milk and dairy products because they are lactose intolerant. Some of the foods may just be toxic to them, such as avocados and chocolate. Also, feeding insects bought from the bait shop or found in the wild may harbor bacteria, parasites, and viruses potentially fatal to your hedgehog. Finally, all the allium part of the vegetable family irritate the hedgiesβ stomachs and cause digestive issues. Info from Google. Thanks Crystal, I educated myself on what hedgehogs can and can not eat. Thankfully I only gave it a tiny bit... Now I feel like . |

Nothing more anyone can do now. I'm very happy you read up on it so you know now to not do that again. Practise the same policy for all animals and birds, even ducks. (Apparently feeding them bread isn't particularly healthy for them...) |

Thinking about lunch already.

Thinking... how annoying it is when people offer something you'd want but then they only accept credit card payment.
This happens with courses, service, coaches etc. Shops are usually smarter and have PayPal too. |

Thinking... about all these years ago when we celebrated St Nicolas this evening.
As a kid earlier in the evening of course and then I believed he was for real. Then later on as adults it was the entire night with lots of fun and pressies and hilarious rhyming poems with the pressies. And now... nothing. A bit weird. |

Thinking about apples and everything you can do with them, eat them, cook them, candy them, and at Halloween time for the trick (not treaters), throw them!
