Personally, I don't think this..getting older isn't so bad. With the exception of waking up to take a leak, a couple more times a night. A one foot jump down, let me climb down this hill. Hmm, I'm not as horny as I once was, once is all you have..roll over and fall asleep. I found I don't need a lot of sleep but I'm glad I've remained active through this trying period. Basketball is out of the question but I'm able to walk down the court. My hair is receding but I'm still holding on too my hair (yeah) If I'm squating on the floor, man..the getting back up takes a few more minutes, the creaking bones sure would make a good ring tone. Because I'm still easy, I'm still dumbfounded...why am I always ending up with a twenty something girlfriend? (I'm wondering if it's them or me?)

Well shoot, I really don't know what to expect in the coming 20/30 years I got left.

Ha ha. Getting old is awesome. I like that I don't care what anyone thinks of me. I like that I have the freedom I once had in my 20's, before parenting. Sure the bones creak, but it is better than being young and dumb...

Feel fortunate you still have fairly good health.
Many of us don't.

You either get older or you're dead.

This is true. It doesn't go backwards.

I'm good with everything. I was born with bad joints, so nothing new there. Letting the hair go gray.

I have a good friend who's an atty and she is fond of saying "getting old's not for sissies".

Quite true!

I am so old I double dated with Moses. It would take a week going to pick up a date while riding a camel. But now I can be there in 5 minutes. Now the old body is there, the wrinkles are there (if you look close), the speed of the body has slowed down but the good news is I'm more mature and smarter. More mature being I know how to treat a lady and smarter being when I am sitting with my herd of camel I always keep a can of air freshener handy when they are eating beans at the campfire. laugh

This is so true.. the older I get the more aches & pains show up..

Well, I can still do what I did when I was younger. It just takes me 3 times as long to get it done.. laugh laugh

You're right Kristi, I just think of it as being built more for comfort than speed.
