Tired of darkness, but doing my best to make the best of it. Put out some more lights outside around the yard to cast more light.. or maybe more shadows... think

Incredibly relieved that I get another chance concerning my benefit and not being able to work as the advice of the medical advisor who visited me last Friday was totally incorrect and based on nothing.
Now I'm getting another doctor beginning January. I hope for my sake this one is familiar with TBI and hypermobility or else I'm bleeped.
Fingers crossed!

Also relieved it won't be this year anymore. I've had enough of these stress situations. At least now I can let go and revel in the Christmas vibe!

Happy I managed to score Christmas cards even though with the lockdown this is difficult if not impossible :)

Happy I was able to leave work a little early. After working a ten hour shift on Tuesday and nine hours yesterday, I'm pretty wiped out.

Also really glad to see very little traffic in this snow storm we're having. That and having very little customers says most people are staying home and off the roads. We had several accidents with the last snow storm, so it's good to see people are playing it safe today.

Almost pis*ed and totally sore. Looked outside this morning and thought "Who the f*** stole my car? Then I realized the whole car was immersed in snow.

A nice feeling isn't it!
I just ordered the last thing that will arrive tomorrow but I won't need it until after Christmas as I won't see her any sooner.

All that's left is deciding what food I want on Boxing Day and get that in.

It sure is Crystal. All I gotta do now is wrap them. Oh how I wish everything was square shaped! grumble

Exhausted and truly grateful that the situation at work didn't turn tragic. A customer came into the store to let me know one of the gas hoses was laying on the ground spilling gas all over the place. I was working alone so had everyone leave the store so I could lock it while spreading kitty liter around and to access the situation. There was way too much gas for me to cover and it had spread over to the parking lot area. I ended up calling my manager and the fire department, fortunately the fire department got there quickly and blocked the entrances to the store. It was estimated that over 5 gallons had spilled, they commended me for acting quickly and handling the situation until they arrived.

Even though it wasn't a huge amount of gas, my biggest concern was what would happen if a customer decided to throw his/her cigarette on the ground while walking to the store. Thankfully that didn't happen and everyone was safe.

Sometimes around the gas stations the fuel can get into the ground and float on top of the water table (the surface of the water you can dig down to). The tanks installed before environmental regulations tended to eventually corrode and leak. You know there is a lot of petroleum in the ground if you see it seeping out of the side of ditches at the water level.
