No one answer. Can be a brief moment of real pleasure, can be a fake smile just to please you, can be being polite when something doesn't really interest them, and so on.
Context, my dear Watson...

Yes, I suppose context is important. The last two could make sense. You always have good ideas

Ooooooh loool! I paint a different situation in my head now!!!!

Maybe it was because of the way I was so inquisitively looking at her !! Hahahahaha

Even if there is no chance of any relationship, the "yah, you rock -respect" look is appropriate.

Is anyone familiar with I facial expression where someone smiles for only a brief instant. They otherwise have a melancholy look on their face.

Tells me, it's early Monday morning,
and someone has already figured out
where they're gonna hide this week's
bodies.

Kudos! drinker

Run now, why you can. She sounds sad, unless you like sad....:sunflower:

Anyway, she's definitely thinking of getting into your pants. Doesn't mean she wants to cheat on her husband or anything, but mine wanders...

Well if anyone likes me I certainly take that as a compliment. However, I doubt that was the meaning of the gesture, as it seemed like a deliberate expression.

This makes me think about Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh.

I love that wee chap

Ot: I always watch body language as well, which often does not match the facial expression.

I smile when I see this now... briefly.

Why would you make such a comment?

Why would you make such a comment?

Because I do it.

It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
What matters is how you handle it.

You're obviously picking up on something, some hint or cue.
Only you know if you have the capacity to do something about it.
It may not be lack of courage.
It may just be a self-esteem issue.

Instead of guessing, just go up and talk to her.
I'll bet if she punches you in the gut, you can take it.

Y'know, when lil boys like lil girls they pull her hair.
Go up and pull her hair and tell her you like her.

I'd start by offering to share your half pint of chocolate milk.
