I've become indifferent about it.
99% of the time I eat alone. Well, maybe not 99% anymore since I met my GF. She does spend weekends with me. Since I don't really celebrate holidays of any kind anymore, I encourage her to spend time with her parents on the holidays. They are getting old and she won't have them much longer. To me, its just another day. |

Due to my family has our Christmas Dinner the weekend prior to Christmas and my kids are so busy that day I have spent many Christmas Day's alone..
This year my son will be working he works in the Oil Field.. So my daughter and her family and I are going to go eat out on Christmas Eve to a restaurant we go to every year normally prior.. It is like a Christmas wonderland inside. Myself I prepare the meal I want on Christmas day even if it is just for me.. I normally buy a small Turkey breast and fix the trimmings to go with it..kick back and enjoy the day binging watching Christmas Movies~~~ The last few years if it was nice out I have gotten on my trike and went for a ride~~ At first it kind of bothered me but I get to spend time with my family prior as well.. so it is not so bad... |

Through one thing and another this will be my first ! Any others like\dislike it I will likely be alone this year for the first time too! I've mixed feelings. I'm not upset about it, on the other hand it is nice to share it with others. I always do feel it is a special day. I do plan to get myself something nice for dinner, thinking lambs rack. And already got croissants in the cupboard for breakfast. I've been looking for something to do on the day, but cannot find anything. It's all on Boxing Day. And that's a day where I love to be at home :) |

I am on my own 99 percent of the time anyway but More of you than I thought ,I will have dinner, walk around the leisure park that I live on then go for a drive (I don't drink) , I am not a great fan of it, but liked to see grand kids opening presents

I'll be alone on Christmas but I've done that many years. It doesn't bother me. I'll be staying in all day and night.

Alone?
If I even tried, my dogs, and the raccoon that hangs out here, just won't allow it. |

There's a house spider in the corner of the porch, and I say hi to her everyday. She makes my day!

Christmas day alone could be a good thing. Stay home and watch movies and read, if that's your thing. Go for a drive. the roads should be empty.

Unless we're in solitary confinement, being alone is a choice.
If I chose to be alone, fine. If I don't want to be alone, I can always call someone and go hang out |
