They said on the news that the storm is over its peak in coastal areas, but they also said the worst winds would be during the expected bad showers, which haven't arrived yet.
Someone who's reared in this province said that we indeed have had the worst of it. I'm gonna go with that. |

We’re over the worst too but it’s still gonna be very windy for the next few days. We have a lot of flooding with rivers bursting their banks but now we’re waiting for the snow.
I’m just grateful my fence is still intact.....phew! |

I’m just grateful my fence is still intact.....phew! Good to hear! And yes, a few more days with very strong winds, but nothing like what was forecast for today. My garage and gates are also standing up, thank goodness! Grateful!
