I haven't worn any makeup at all for the last two years. I feel that I am mostly invisible. I'm am thinking that it is a good thing.

I never wore a lot of makeup but have scaled back from what I did wear, now mostly I wear a tinted sunscreen/ bb cream by Garnier and lip tint . I am really pale skin so the tinted sunscreen gives me a little color and I don't have to worry about sweating it off when I run/workout

Just an eyeliner pencil and mascara

I don't wear any because it comes of on my mask now.

My fine british skin is suited to the natural look . There is little point wearing makeup when I am surfing or sailing ..
I could not live without lip balm . ., luckily I make my own Using Manuka honey , beeswax and natural berry fruits . If I am in a seductive mood .. red lips are all I need ![]() ![]() |

Up to the woman I believe. The whole cosmetic industry is geared towards making woman someone they are not.
Why? Not to make them feel better but to make money. Pure and simple. Personally I prefer a woman with minimal or no makeup if dating. Purely because it conveys two things...1. She is proud of her looks and hides nothing, 2. She is conveying to me or her partner "this is me". No camouflage, no insecurities, proud confident and self assured. We all have imperfections but how many of us can see pass them and still relish life? |

How is the woman, who wears make-up, making money?

The manufacturer makes you believe you need there brand of makeup to morph you into a super model. Not the end user.

Look at the price of makeup. Proof enough!

I think most knowledgeable women learn that make-up can enhance what you already have.

Cosmetics doesn't have to be expensive.

A woman can look good with little to no make up. The ones that cake it on, may as well learn to juggle.
It is nice every now and then when women put on the war paint for a night on the town, but probably shouldn't be wearing any to work until we figure out how men and women can work together without sexualizing the workplace. |

Bobtail, I can maybe see women wear "war paint" , as you say, in a nightclub, but no makeup at work? Wearing any makeup is sexulizing the workplace? According to you.

I am not more attracted to a woman that wears make up than on that is not. In fact I would rather be with a woman that doesn't feel she has to wear make up, but does if the situation warrants. If I was with a woman that does use make up I would like to know she is using a brand that does not use animal testing.

How could it not be, Cat? Make-up has one purpose, attractiveness. Are you telling me it's perfectly reasonable for a woman to purposefully make herself more attractive to go to work, then a guy in the office get's written up or the very least a trip to HR for noticing? The workplace needs to be clinical, until we figure out how to work together.

Well, bobtail, if a guy can't handle an attractive woman, maybe it's part of the job.
