i feel like i need to polish up my clue by 4 and plan a road trip to either vermont or florida Florida would be good! Not really, it will be hitting by time you arrive. I'm getting absolutely no cooperation from anyone at work. I feel really disappointed about that. They aren't making any decisions until tomorrow, but I don't really have the luxury of waiting... the longer I wait, the less chance I have of getting a flight out of here. If it's still possible. The airport is still open but they are already starting evacuations in that area. so change your flight and let them waffle on their time not yours

Sounds like a great idea, but it's not going to happen. I just talked to the shuttle bus and they are booked solid, if they even run. Not to mention people who leave at the last minute... getting out of the Keys on Sunday could take several hours. The plan is to stay put for now. If it looks like it will be closer and there's a chance we'll have to evacuate the resort then I will go to my sister's ... Their house is hurricane proof, it was untouched by Irma. Then get an earlier flight for Wednesday or Thursday. The plus side of that is there will be plenty of supplies, which I don't have here. And the airport won't be a madhouse

There are no flights until Sunday night, everything is sold out, even the more expensive flights.
