Trump's Russia report victory turns sour

"Washington (AFP) - Donald Trump wanted a victory lap after the apparent flop of the Russia collusion probe, but on Thursday, 11 days later, the president instead found himself being chased in circles.

Over and over the president has crowed that special counsel Robert Mueller's massive investigation into the Trump team's links to Moscow resulted in total "exoneration."

But that claim is based on the conclusions of Trump's handpicked attorney general William Barr who released a four-page summary of the still secret report. The actual report, running hundreds of pages, has yet to be released publicly.

And US media reports have now quoted sources from the previously almost totally leak-proof Mueller team saying that Barr's characterization glossed over potentially damaging findings".

I look for Trump to act like a squatter. Squatters refuse to pay the rent. And refuse to leave the property. I wouldn't put it past this attention whore to cause some kind of scene before he will leave. I wouldn't put it past him to force the Secret Service to have to escort him out kicking and screaming.

Thats why we need the FULL Mueller report and not just Barr's word

Trump and Barr would like us to think that everything is fine, yet the news today suggests that Mueller's team believed they had significant concerns about Trump and obstruction of justice. The Democrats need to stay on this and Trump's taxes as well. Will Trump followers still look the other way when it is found that Trump doesn't pay taxes?

He is a company and his company pays taxes. He does not personally pay himself. When I had a company my taxes was completed with the company taxes because I didn't pay myself personally. An individual doesn't not necessarily have to file a separate tax form for themselves if taxes is done this way. He has a worth which is worth what he owns. And since he doesn't take a personal paycheck for the presidency he again would not necessarily have to file a personal tax return.

I doubt Trump is in the same bracket or situation of anyone on these posts.

He has companies and also personal income. He pays no personal income. This is the income tax he doesn't want to show. If it was as simple as him not having an obligation for personal tax, he would not need to refuse to show it, he could say he had none.

There has been a discovery of income taxes he paid in the year 2005, in fact. But nothing else that I'm aware of.

You want the whole, unredacted report. You won't get it. Classified material, along with grand jury material must be edited out- that's the law. You wanna read it all? Go get a security clearance.

Belly-ache to your heart's content. Barr won't release it. If I was Barr, I'd hold it back just to listen to you gripe.

The full report should be released to congress and let them determine what should be redacted
