Topic: Glass half empty or full..type person | |

What about this: can someone be cheerfully pessimistic? it beats grumpily optimistic, so yeah, why not lol I like positivity, no time for negativity, the glass is half full. |

There is a middle ground:
Indifference. That's where ya don't care if the glass is half full or half empty and possibly that there is a glass at all. |

Both.
The simple reality is that the glass is both half-full AND half-empty. Anything less is not telling the complete story. I tend to see things for what they are not what they could be.. I tend to see both. tomorrow's future looks bright but... when I really look hard at it im doubtful...is that wrong.?..
It's not wrong if you are simply considering all the possibilities. |

I am mostly a very positive optimistic person, but I also have moments where I am not.
That's okay, that's how the new can come into your life. If everything was always good only it'd get awfully boring and you'd not have opportunities to new things. I learnt that one from Abraham Hicks and it is true: when there's a not so good moment you get a desire for something different. That's how you grow. It does require, however, to not be a serial pessimist as then you cannot grab the wonderful moments. |

I agree, that's usually how I see things... Except right now... the summer salad I ordered and brought home has watermelon on it instead of the strawberries I ordered Still delicious! And since it's my workplace, I'll get the strawberries later. |

I think some forget one important fact. The glass is refillable . No matter what you can pour it out and start fresh.

I think some forget one important fact. The glass is refillable . No matter what you can pour it out and start fresh. Aye. But I should wash my glass out with bleach and rinse it properly, before re using it |

Although we all have our low points, where life has given us a good and thorough kicking, I'm generally an optimist. Then again I'm quite good at optimizing my life

No matter if the glass is half full or half empty, it just means that there is room for more.. Still |

Then again it would help to know if you are pouring or drinking?

Step one : buy glass half the size of the one you have.
Step two : pour in contents of original glass. Step three :throw original glass in trash. Step four :look at new glass. What do you see? A full glass. It's what you make it |

Even after all these years I do NOT get it, hahaha. Had it been me the bomb would've gone off. I'd simply have run, lol. |
