These 3 world countries have got it all wrong. When you have a vote you don't need to rig it for the results you want, all you do is if you don't win just don't take any notice of the results.
We voted leave!

Boris has said that MPs who vote against him will be sacked and not allowed to stand at the next general election. Things are hotting up!

I think all those trying to stop the 'hard Brexit' option are all remoaners, but they prefer not to admit it because that would mean they are ignoring the Referendum result. Only the LibDems are brave enough to tell the country 'you got it wrong'. After all nearly half the country might vote for them next time! Labour has finally come off the fence on the side of the LibDems, and other parties. The worsth thing that could happen at the next election is that the Greens, SNP, Labour and others all join together and agree not to compete BUT the Tories and Brexit Party are too arrogant to do the same sharing. Result would likely be a hung parliament with a majority of remain voting MPs. That would be a disaster. Let's hope that if the remainers join forces, so do the Tories and Bexit party.

What a weird choice, no longer choosing between left and right, but choosing between stay or go as the only option! I think the next few weeks in politics will be even more interesting than recent months......

All that political talk is meaningless to me, hihi. What I'd like to know is, do most British people want to leave the EU or not?

Crystal. We had a vote as you know and the results were that we leave!

When we or any other country have an election the party with the most votes get into power .
The left wing labour party are saying what Johnson is doing is un democratic whoa

Hello, earth calling Corbyn whoa

They are not respecting the results slaphead
They will block anything, they'd even buy a cat a block the cat flap!

I know the vote resulted in leaving. But since, quite some time has gone by and a lot of upheaval. What I heard was that many British began to change their mind about it all and now actually fear the Brexit and results of it.
That's what I'm wondering about, do most indeed now feel like "Dang, I wished we'd not Brexit!"?

Not at all!
This would have been sorted ages ago if it wasn't for the labour party and Tory rebels!
They scare people saying we'll run out of food, why aren't we producing it?
Funny enough it's the working class that labour says they support yet it's those jobs that are going to other countries and foreign labour so how does that work

It is funny the Brexit day is on Oct 31, Samhain or better known these days as Halloween.
It's the Celtic New Year's Eve, the start of a new year, so a new beginning.
I like that :)

There's some event at Scheveningen beach on that day concerning Brexit.
And I guess buying books or oracle cards from BookDepository isn't going to be so favorable for me anymore, haha. I may have to find myself another good and affordable source. (dammit!)

"The real divide in "our" society is not between those who voted leave or remain in 2016. It's between the many who do the work, create the wealth, and pay their taxes - and the few - who set the rules, reap the rewards, and dodge their taxes."

Everyone is in favor ofΒ free speech. Hardly a day passes without its being extolled, but some people’s idea of it is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone else says anything back, that is an outrage.” ― Winston S. Churchill

Strange how labour and the rebels have spent the last 3 years wanting a vote on every stage of brexit so can refuse it yet they wouldn't give the people the vote when they were in power whoa

I'm not up to date on all the kerfuffle, but one thing I do know is that the strength of the pound has seriously weakened over the past number of weeks ohwell smokin

Hey Dino,
Yes, it's gone down about 5 cents (€)

With all this bs that's going on about we'll run out of this and that it just shows how much we DON'T make any more
Why are we not making medicines, why are we not growing food?
When I was young around here all you could see was apple and fruit trees.
When we joined the eu they all had to be cut down because of eu regulations whoa

Hey Mikey, I think it has dropped more than that, it's a big hullabaloo to me, I just can't see what the outcome is gonna be..

I think most people here voted to stay, but whatever way the D.U.P. props up the Tories it didn't matter.

Me too.
I think the politicians have done more damage than ever.
Well them and the media who are running around like headless chickens not knowing who to slag off and who to support, that's different every day laugh

It's showing Β£1 = €1.10 it was €1.15 a few weeks ago.
Of course you wouldn't get that at the exchange

It's funny, or rather it's not funny that this thread wouldn't exist if the big boys club trading under the guise of 'Europe ' basically France and Germany had of implemented reforms making a more level playing field!
