I just get so thrilled, actually stand in complete amazement... when the 18-19 year old 'men' impart their 'wisdoms' on us here!

I'm not knocking the age. I'm just knocking the noisy ones. It is ok to have an opinion at your age. However.. true wisdom is often demonstrated by an ability to listen. Maybe even to demonstrate an ability to read a room... so to speak. That would be good.

But whether it is whining in self pity, being tough, being a complete jerk... whatever method chosen to express your youthful outlook and true insecurity.. You really have not been in existence long enough to offer much of anything truly credible, to the masses at large.

With that in mind, without the benifit of listening, reading the room...all you are doing is making noise for the sake of noise making.

Here's an article I wrote in 2003 or 2004 (my writing style was somewhat underdeveloped then and it is a bit different now... this was around the time I had started getting into the PUA material)

Nice Guys Finish Last
by Chief

The following article is not intended to offend nor be read by the narrow-minded

Remember when you first started thinking of girls? Remember when you were first pressured to court her and ask her out? Did you have sweaty palms? Did you not know what to do? You probably had some kind of plan thought up in your mind. Just say hi and be nice. Impress her with your (insert whatever you have here) and DON'T screw this up.

Think about this. If "dating" and all this stuff were "natural," then why would you get so nervous? Why would you be so PRESSURED to IMPRESS the girl? Shouldn't this be easier? Shouldn't it be more FUN than this? Shouldn't it all flow naturally?

Well, I'll let you in on a little secret, my friend. Not too long ago (by either a few hundred or few thousand years or so, it depends on your perspective), this ritual of "courtship" DID flow naturally and easily.

How, you ask? Well, this era was before women started saying, "we want a 'nice guy' to buy us flowers and jewelery." This was an era before men commited suicide on Valentines day.

Fortunately for you, the secrets of this era don't have to be secret.

Now, before you continue reading, I am NOT saying that it is a good idea to be cruel and abusive to females. In fact, that is a HORRIBLE idea. NO ONE deserves abuse.

While it is a horrible idea to be cruel and abusive to whomever you are trying to "court," it is an equally horrible idea to abuse youself in the process. Just because you want to "impress" a girl doesn't mean you should stab your wallet and shower her with gifts (Oh no! Your hard-earned cash!). Just because you get rejected by 30 girls in a row doesn't mean you should beat yourself up. It doesn't mean you should lower your self-esteem.

Anyways, you hear all the time that girls want "nice guys" and you try out the routine for yourself. So you see a hot girl. You get on your best nice behavior, you are courteous, you act humbly, you speak in a soft tone of voice, you do EVERYTHING she asks you to do, you shower her with gifts, you call her every day, you start living by a code of "chilvalry," you avoid looking at her boobs or butt, blah blah blah, you know the drill. You most likely noticed that when you did this, she never wound up feeling the same feelings that you felt for her.

As humans, girls want what's sensibly best for themselves. They logically assume that a "nice guy" would be the perfect boyfriend. Girls can fool themselves with this ideology for a little while, but then they realize that they are just not ATTRACTED to their "nice guy" boyfriends and they end up dumping them. Now the reasoning of why girls are not attracted to "nice guys" get into psychology and all that*, but through the kinds of countless observations stated above, it can be strongly theorized that "Nice Guys Finish Last."

Your probably asking yourself right now, "If I can't be a 'nice guy,' what am I suppose to do to naturally attract females?"

Like I said before, the answer does NOT lie in the abuse category. Don't even think about that unless you LIKE prison.

Ever notice how some girls tell you, "just be yourself?" What do you think that means? Some guys tell themselves, "That must mean 'be a nice guy' because that is what I am! I am nice." That only leads to heartbreak later on.

To counter this thought, think of how you are around your family and guy friends. Do you get on your best behavior? Do you shower them with gifts? Do you put them on the pedestal and do EVERYTHING they tell you to do? Most likely not, but if so, I recommend that you spend some time with self-help programs that boost your self-esteem and self-respect.

"Just be yourself." Is this just another evily misleading piece of advice like the "nice guy" thing? My take on it is that it is not. Before I spoke of an grand era where men subconsciously knew how the game worked and what they could do to attract women. Because of evolution, you, my friend, also have this subconscious knowledge that is embedded within your personality. For all this time, you just chose to hide this truly attractive part of your personality with this "nice guy" facade.

Next time you're talking to a girl you like, try to control yourself from being a "nice guy." Say to yourself, "No More Mr. Nice Guy" if you have to. Just be yourself. Act around her as you would around all your other friends. Joke with her freely, jovially tease her. If you do this effectively, you should get more positive results.

And remember, "Nice Guys Finish Last."

*If you would like to study the psychology of why this is so, I suggest www.doubleyourdating.com or any book on gender differences such as "Why Men Don't Have a Clue and Women Always Need More Shoes" by Barbara and Allan Pease.

Tell her to get her own ******* napkin and she'll give me respect??? Hmmm, can't say as though I am going to try that. I think if she had any SELF RESPECT, she would get up and leave after that.

I would leave after a quick, and well diserved, slap in the face!

Thank you all for your blessings, but that was actually my girl answering after I showed her this guy's post.

So I told her to %#$@ off and stop touching my &#$%ing computer while I'm in the can, you know, like a good boyfriend does. See, unlike her I've always got enough energy for sarcasm.
