I went when I was little. I had a pen friend from there. never did write to her though, couldn't find an envelope long enough

Some stormy weather the last couple of days, but not bad.

Rain all day yesterday, very windy with gales in some places brought down a few trees in the south of England, temperature down from mid 20s to around 16 C feels less in the wind, looks more like November than August. More rain and cooler today, and from the looks of things summer has disappeared. |

Hmmm that's no fun!
Over here it was still quite windy. I'd stopped to put air in my car tyres -and good thing I did too. But it was a tad cold with the wind as I was working on it, so I decided to put my blouse on. I couldn't get in the danged thing, haha. The wind kept blowing it all over the place. In the end I finally managed to get both arms in the sleeves, then the rest was completely rolled up and partialy in 1 sleeve
I as sat on my haunches to do the air the wind blew up both my shirt and blouse, exposing my back. I might as well have taken them off, lol. It's some 21C. |

In other news. The winds have dropped in the south east of England although it remains overcast.

It would've been a great one for a YouTube clip, esp me wrestling with that blouse. Even I had to laugh haha. I guess it's draw the curtains and watch a nice movie? Can you still make do without heating? As you mentioned yesterday it was only 15C. |

And yes Mikey, the weather is to be dry tomorrow. I'm a bit worried about my son in law's parents as they have been advised to evacuate due to the river bursting it's bank and it's flooded their street. They live 3 miles away. Yikes! |
