I don't know if its a me thing or what?
But it seems like the women I have met who are older than me.
Have less energy than me and less sex drive?

And SOME women I've met who are 40, LOOK 55 ??
Women who have tanned alot when younger, NOW im sure regret that
Because the sun will make the aging process more dramatic.
 flowerforyou drinker  smokin

I think I could still find an older lady my cup of life.
IF SHE was of my energy, and all the rest of GREAT...lol

I find the same problem with men older than me having less energy and enthusiasm. Let me ask, since you are 50, how do you feel about dating women who are 50?

Most of MY life I have always been with my same age, or one year younger...so, SAME is cool... flowerforyou

I would have trouble with their boyfriends and husbands since single ones seem to be hard to find. I like the attitude of the one older I help dress each morning. I ask her what she wants to wear and she says who cares. I can relate with her and all she wants is something warm to wear; stop waking her up during the night and our philosophies seem to match since she says to me why don't you knock me in the head with a bat and get me out of my misery. I love you morning conversations which are easy to prepare for since she has Alzheimers. I always know where she is coming from since I hear the same speech each morning.

Oh boy, the fun I could have with a 26 year old drinker But honestly I think the biggest problem is getting someone to meet me! Maybe I should lie about my age?

I will be 51 soon and have had no issues with invitations to date.

based on your picture I would say you should look at the 60+ crowd

I am just wondering... I turned 50 this year and for this first time in my life I am questioning my ability to actually find a life-long partner. Can someone give me a clue as to what age group I still have a chance with and how men respond to a woman over 50?

BlueskyJ:

Ouch, that was mean. I don't even have a picture posted.

not mean, honest, if you ask the question about what age group you should be dating, you should have a picture posted....otherwise how could anyone truthfully answer your question....after all this is a dating site

Yes, we are visual....And women want to feel safe

So both groups want to see a picture, but for different reasons...

when someone doesn't post a picture its a 'red flag'...every dating site explains that without the picture you are much less likely to get a response....once in a while someone actually has what seems like a valid reason not to post a picture....

we are who we are...so accept yourself & others will likely accept you too....

to generalise, men are really visual.

so this is true about the pic problem.

its not about pretty, its about visualising who they are talkin to. ok its prolly a little about pretty.

not to say that women dont need a pic too, its just not as important to as many of them.

OK, I know you are right, and I thank you for the advise. I just hate the thought of everyone seeing my picture and doing what ever they want with it. I really prefer to send it to those I want to see it. However, maybe it is time for me to get real and post a pic. I will work on it, thanks again.

The answer shouldn't be about what you look like. Are you saying if she's a hot 50 yr old woman you could tell her what age group would be interested in her? Tell me it isn't so...

Redding Lady,

I peeked:wink:

Your ability is not a question. The guy of your choice is just unknown yet.

I can't offer an opinion about an specific age group, but think and feel that recognizing favorite values, moral judgements and lifestyles would provide a great backdrop to a search for a long term relationship.

Then there's that chemical click thingee that blows everything else outa the water.laugh

Have fun exploring the possibilities!!
