Topic: Will You Be My Valentine? | |

Send chocolate and roses to my dear girlfriend and say"I love you forever" to her, that what I will do on Valentine' day. That's very sweet |

I bumped into my ex on Valentine's Day a year after we split up. He had flowers in his hand and I pointed to them and said "Aw, you shouldn't have". He stuttered a bit and then blurted out "Erm, they're not for you". We exchanged pleasantries and as I said goodbye and turned to walk away he said "Hey, you're looking great". I just carried on walking and thought to myself "Yep,I'll take that". Funny thing is, we never paid much attention to Valentine's Day when we were together. Looking back it seems to have been that way with the couple longer term relationships I've had. With my sons father we paid more attention to it before we got married than later. |

@ Tom... those are beautiful songs. Dedicating songs and poetry to the one you love is a beautiful way to express that love... and of course following through with showing your sincerity.

hiya all any1 from Yorkshire here ? I do have a pic if u ask lol Hi Kyle, welcome to Mingle... It might be better to post this in the "New Member Welcome Area" forum... The topic here is Valentine's Day so most won't see your post. As far as a picture, it's doubtful anyone is going to ask. It's your choice if you want to post one, although it's usually better if you do. Have fun and good luck to you |

What's your ideal Valentine's date? Do you have a Valentine... either currently or someone in mind? I don't have a Valentine, or any prospects. If I were ever so fortunate to have the company of a woman on that day, something like this appeals to me: Start off with a leisurely meander through a park or other scenic locale, or through a quaint town or shops. Learning more about the things we like and discovering more mutual interests. Playful energy with lots of hand holding and eye gazing. Make our way to maybe a planetarium or someplace that inspires a sense of awe where we can experience a feeling of wonderment in each others eyes and energy. Moving to a more intimate setting, prepare a simple meal together, sharing lots of closeness and little nibbles pecks and grazes. Get cozy on the couch, enjoy our meal, then enjoy lots of cuddling and kissing and... Guys... What are some of the things you've given a sweetheart on Valentine's Day? Is it just another day to you?
I've never had a sweetheart on Valentines day. Given the opportunity, my first gift would be attentiveness. Being aware of what brings a smile to her face and joy to her heart, I'd create something personalized and meaningful for her. The gift would most likely include the reading of a poem I've written for her, and maybe even me strumming her a little guitar melody that her qualities inspired me to compose. These performances would almost certainly be delivered with awkward charm, but definitely would be heartfelt. |

Techno, I envy the woman who finally finds you... hope it's sooner than later |

Thanks, River. I'm hoping that all of us seekers make those yummy connections sooner rather than later.

Love is in the air .....,
Working on a special love potion .. for you all .. not to be taken orally |

Hiya Blondey... can't wait to see what you're cooking up for us

Hiya river I read recently that men should post a profile of their body sideon .. apparently that can increase their love appeal attractiveness ...
I can see this working for women too |

Do you mean their beer belly
No.. i don't think that is the winning silhouette

I agree! I'm getting feedback in the background about what a sideon is... something to do with a curling muscle... that creates the beer belly... or healthy gut rather
So what exactly is a sideon? |

For some reason the song "Love potion number nine" just popped up in my mind.

You drink that potion... the one Blondey's making for us isn't taken orally
Oh no....does that mean it could be given like an enema?
It's wrong that I even thought of that. |
