I give my present on the day that she will be more happy. For me, the first day I meet a lady is more important. or for me the first day I met with a lady is more important. for example, the wedding anniversary presents a more important day. Valentine's Day is a good opportunity for companies to increase their sales. but it can still be celebrated symbolically. I liked this girl who's parents wouldn't let us see each other because they didn't like that I was Catholic.
One Valentine's day I secretly gave her a short poem I wrote. It went Roses are red Violets are bluish If it wasn't for Christmas We'd both be Jewish. Her parent's weren't happy when they caught her reading it at their Synagogue.

psssssssst....I was only kidding. That didn't really happen. I did work at an art gallery for a Jewish guy and we held auction for non profits organizations and churches. He caught me checking out his daughter who was attractive that was helping at one auction......he told me "Don't even think about it!!"

Guys... What are some of the things you've given a sweetheart on Valentine's Day? Is it just another day to you? River, it's not what I have done but what I would do involves going to the Super Bowl with a girl since there is no other baseball game or football game that time of the year. I would have shown on the scoreboard "(name) you are the most amazing woman I have ever known. I would be honored if you would be my Valentine on Feb. 14th." Afterwards we would have a candlelight dinner with a single rose in a vase in the middle of the table. I would let her know that there is no where else I would rather be at that moment. |
