As I'm sure you know, a 'closed group' on fb can be seen by others but they can't join unless invited. A 'secret group' is just that, only members know about it and can see it. These groups are totally invisible to everyone else. Of course fb collects a vast amount of data from all its members. We would all be amazed if we could see everything they know about us. I can tell that's true in my case because the 'people you might know' feature regularly suggests people I have not seen or had any connection with for many years, people who I never knew were on fb! fb is a scary place, but sadly necessary these days. The group I made is a "Closed" group, as it is a "niche" group..directed at a specific group (not important here in this conversation). Any prospective joiners *would* appreciate that..having a safe place to meet others of their ilk.. They message me to join, have to answer 3 questions...which is normal procedure for "Closed" groups.  |

I wish I was 57 again. I`m 64 still ride my horse, ride my push bike, love climbing hills and walking in the bush . I get up at 5 am every morning , go to work cleaning at a horse stud in the offices , come home and work all day at home. And I still feel like I`m in my 20`s.
I think its all in the mind how old you feel . Just get out there and do it , enjoy life. |

I am in my 60's, look like I am in my 50's, think like I am in my 40's, active like I am in my 30's, act like I am in my 20's, lie like I am in my teens, and misbehave like I am in my single digits. |

58...seems like I don't have but a few years to do this thing. Will I see 60? Who the F knows but hey, I'm still me in here. |

I'm an ancient 69 but still intend to take a laptop apart and try to repair it, despite my eyes not being what they once were.
And I still go walking and dancing regularly (five mile walks at least once a week), despite my physcial abilities not being what they were. Soon I will go away on holiday and intend to dive into the pool and swim across it underwater, as I usually do when there is a pool available. But who knows when those abilities will end? If I could take a pill that would enable me to live till 200, I would be very excited by the scientific discoveries to be made in the next hundred years. Will cancer be curable with a pill? Or dementia? |

Chatting online can be fun, I've had some really enjoyable (non-sexual) conversations but personality and character is paramount, so there's really no alternative to a real life meeting, whatever kind of relationship your aiming for in my opinion.
