I agree that our welfare system is a handout.
What I also know is that everyone is dependent on some entity for what they get.
If you sell widgets, you are dependent on every person that buys your widgets. It doesn't matter where their money comes from, what matters is they give it to you and you give them a widget. If everyone buys a widget, you thrive, if nobody buys a widget you don't. Yes, even welfare recipients buy widgets. They are not hoarding their benefits, they are spending them and contributing to other's wealth. Technically, the person you are supporting on welfare is also supporting you.

People shouldn't put all their eggs in one basket and should save for a rainy day.

While it is morally imperative to protect the sanctity of life perhaps that is an outdated mindset that is slowly destroying us?

World population is increasing at an alarming rate. Its out of control.
You can only put so many groceries in a bag. Eventually you need another bag or stop gathering groceries.
Since we don't have an infinite capacity, the only logical step is to stop adding to it.

You can't put 10 billion potatoes in a sack that only holds 5 billion.
You can try but you will rip the sack.
Our sack is ripping right now.

People that need welfare assistance don't have any eggs in their basket so there are none to save for a rainy day.
How do you find eggs for your basket? You go find a chicken that lays eggs.
You find someone willing to give you eggs for your basket.
If the people in your own country won't share their chickens or their eggs with you, you find a country and people that will.

This policy is saying, "hey, we are no longer going to supply you with eggs for your basket until you can find a chicken to lay your own. If we do have to supply your basket with eggs, you will never be allowed to own your own chicken".
This tells the people in their home country that they should be providing their own people with eggs till they can find their own chickens.
But, do you think anyone in those home countries will see it that way?

For some reason I can't help but think of Dr Strange love. It seems to me its in the interest of the rich to keep people poor. Does the USA government really want a rich country in south or central America, which if these countries got what they deserved for their resources and labour they would surely be. The black economy relies on people without a green card, and vast sums are made out of 'illegal activities' . its a neat trick, rob the countries resources, while keeping a foot firmly on their neck, and then pariah them for ills we instigate. Others do it too. Its just power isn't it really. Power and money above humanity. If you lived in a shack with only enough money for a bowl if rice a day. Would you want to chance your arm illegally in the land of milk and honey, where you can afford to send some money back to relatives.

if you are so fired up about ending all of the free handouts,how about we stop giving all of these huge multi-billion dollar corporations the CORPORATE WELFARE that the republican party has made sure that they all get,and start making sure that ALL of them finally start paying their fair share of taxes,like they are supposed to!!

and,how about we stop giving all of these super wealthy people tax cuts,and start making them pay their fair share of taxes,instead of getting richer on the back of the middle class,who DIDNT receive a 2 TRILLION DOLLAR tax cut thanks to trumps tax plan.

I have 3 that I worked my *** off to support. They are productive members of society. One of the questions I was asked in my interview last week was do I know the answers to all the questions since my son is on the hiring team. None of them have illegitimate kids and laying up on welfare.

Stopping them is fine, thats what border are for. BUt deportation is the step when they have not been STOPPED.

proactivity is fine too, just like in the example of inner city services and resources and jobs

but for the ones who DONT YET have that option, who have slipped through any type of prevention, and have NOT HARMED anyone while they were here,

they should not be treated EQUAL to those who have. those who have caused harm should be deported FIRST and FOREMOST.

and those who had no say about their situation when they came (as kids) who have likewise not harmed anyone, should have other options to be sponsored by another adult until they can make their immigrant status legal.

You know what a breeder is. They have baby daddies instead of husbands, section 8 unstead of a mortgage, foodstamps instead of a job. Basically their only purpose in life is getting pregnant and waiting for a check.
