I've read a number of reports that list Colorado as one of the best educated states, with an unprecedented number of PhD's living here and a highly educated workforce. In addition, according to the U.S. Census, the average medium income in Colorado in 2000 was approximately $45K, and $53K in 2004. Given this information, you can see why I am curious about your source.

But....the great thing about this country is that you are entitled to your opinion, and can even misrepresent data to make a point. Hell, the media does it all the time! However, I prefer to base my opinion on facts rather than insult people's intelligence.
