Remember Kids, a Bad plan is better than no plan at all. Sorry, I can't agree with that...and I have a fairly high IQ myself. I'd rather have someone a little more flexible with their planning than a complete moron unwilling to change his plan. For the record though, I only voted for Kerry because I traditionally won't vote for a Republican (although I have on rare occasions). The typical Republican platform defies all logical sense. And I certainly wouldn't vote for a guy who fashions himself a dictator. |

bush theme song
Words And Music By Tom Petty It's good to be king, if just for a while To be there in velvet, yeah, to give 'em a smile It's good to get high and never come down It's good to be king of your own little town Yeah, the world would swing if I were king Can I help it if I still dream time to time It's good to be king and have your own way Get a feeling of peace at the end of the day And when your bulldog barks and your canary sings You're out there with winners, it's good to be king Yeah I'll be king when dogs get wings Can I help it if I still dream time to time It's good to be king and have your own world It helps to make friends, it's good to meet girls A sweet little queen who can't run away It's good to be king, whatever it pays Excuse me if I have some place in my mind |

Those states that voted for Kerry might have some pretty smart people.
Remind me, tho, never to take their advice on picking winners the next time I bet on football games, tho . |

Oh it is complete rubbish ... I saw it in a magazine, and then checked it online, and sure enough the numbers are there as well Just goes to prove that figures can be made to look like anything the author wants them to. So, when anyone posts anything about the elections of any country, ask yourself is it "BS propaganda" and is it going to make a difference? Still waiting to hear WHAT MAg and What web site to back up this BS |

LMAO...the first five states just happen to be the Most liberal dem states (aside from California). Wonder exactly How they managed to get all these IQ's to come up with this "average". I bet they just asked everyone and knowing Liberal Dems of course they think they are so smart an gave thenselves higher IQ's

I hate to be a bubble burster here but I went to school in the south for a short time and the teachers there made an example of me constantly since I was from the north and was advanced for their education system. Personal experience of course, but makes the IQs seem pretty true to me. Of course I think Colorado should be closer to the top, but that is me being a biased Colorado native

Please..this is all BS...First, IQ tests are rarely given, they are not "college entrance exams" or "SAT tests" These test measure Mathamatical, problem solving, abstract thinking, and complex scientific skills.I doubt more then 10-20 percent of all US citizens are given a properly conducted IQ test in their entire life.
Second, earned income is all relative, Someone down in a southern state can make a lot less then someone up north and still be "wealthier" then the person making more but paying alot more in taxes and services and cost of living. Sounds like who ever came up with this "propaganda" had an IQ of 10 |

Still waiting to hear WHAT MAg and What web site to back up this BS The IQ numbers were originally attributed to the book 'IQ and the Wealth of Nations,' though they do not appear in the current edition. The tests and data were administered via the Raven's APT, and The Test Agency, one of the UK's leading publishers and distributors of psychometric tests. This data has been published in the Economist and the St. Petersburg Times |

Jesus!!! This is like pulling teeth ...
Yes it is hogwash ... I posted that too!! The point of the exercise was to prove that what people post as truth can be manipulated and bent to each other's means. So, as most people on her have done, question everything. |

I agree with you, that is why I will look something up before I post it, I posted something here last week and included the websites where the info came from including CNN and someone still chirped that it was propaganda. so I don't think it really matters what anyone does people believe what they want! |

Well, when there are still books in the educational system in the US that rewrite both the Civil War and the theory of evolution, is it any wonder that people like to make connections where no connections can theoretically exist?
The IQs sound about right, though, based upon the educational systems of the states they are located in. However, those IQs can't be rationally used to make a connection between intelligence and voting preference, because they are independent of one another. 45 years ago, a lot of those same states with low IQs had traditionally voted for Democrats. |

(Rank) - (State) - (Avg IQ) - (Avg Salary p.a.) - (Who state voted for in 2004) (3) New Jersey ..................111 $26,457 Gore hmmm.. interesting. This means, sadly, I am way above my state's average IQ.. but in 2004 I turned 17 on election day and was screwed out of voting but I did register. lol. 2008 I'm debating on voting for Kucinich. He seems like he'd be a great president. |

But voting for Dennis Kucinich is a very funny way of showing it. |
