Just wondering.....for all of those that are making this into a fight over who changed what to celebrate Christmas....


have any of you seen the movie "Santa Claus is coming to town"?



It happend to be on t.v. tonight and my son and I watched it, I HIGHLY recommend that y'all find it and watch it!! pay close attention to the movie.. y'all will find out what the true meaning of Christmas is!!

I say people going do what they want. I admit though this really all come from stores wanting $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and they are now so many diff people in American, which I have noticed alot of. Why yall think teenagers are taking spanish in high school and other languages these days? I will always say Marry Christmas though!!!!!!! American is changing, cause of other people coming to our country and becoming citizens.

I live in clermont and we had a usa flag and people complained so the city took it down. Which I think is very wrong. I'm about to go to the store and buy me a usa flag and put it on the tree by the road, because this state is USA and we need to keep our american flag alive! I'm this trying to say people from diff parts come here and think they can do what they want and they seem to be doing it too. I'm trying to imagine what's going happen when I'm 35 years old.

There are also other really sad things if you take out Merry Christmas out of our culture.

1. Bing Crosby would be turning over in his grave WHITE HOLIDAY

2. Have yourself a merry little Holiday yuk

3. All I want for the Holidays is my two front teeth...yea right.

4. Happy Holiday ho ho ho nope should always be Merry Christmas ho ho ho

5. Blue Holiday elvis would turn in his grave Blue Blue Christmas

6. I heard the bells on Holiday day.....please I herd the bells on Christmas Day

7. The twelve days of Holidays........give me a break The twelve days of Christmas....


Also people read the story about Christmas that someone posted in brings it home for me.

And I don't want to fight either....I just think they should leave it alone....Christmas is Christmas is Christmas.....PERIOD

I for one will NEVER say happy holidays. For me it is MERRY CHRISTMAS, Christmas is the celebration of Jesus's birth and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

I think people just tend to get testy about their own opinions. The reason I started the thread was to share a cool vid. People can go round and round bout this issue, I just want to celebrate Christ's birth.

We aren't even doing that much shopping this year .. it's mostly just giving of our hearts.

two years ago we gave up our Christmas present in liu of giving them to a needy family. My kids at first were not happy but by the time we finished they loved it. The father of this family had a brain tumor and was dying and the family could afford nothing. We bought all three kids a ton of presents, and a full blon turkey dinner was given to this family.

That's the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas ((Judy)) We have decided not to do much shopping either but instead are going to "adopt" a family that is having a rough time. It's about giving not recieving. I too want to celebrate Christ's birth He is the reason for the season.
