I wish I had said how imperfect I am from the very beginning even though you thought otherwise. I should’ve said that the sadness in my eyes was basically a part of that flaw and that my walls are sometimes stronger than my heart. I wanted to know you more but I felt what was right was to let you live your family life, a life that your wife can provide you with. Thank you for the comfort and the time you gave me. I did most of the talking in an effort to safe our marriage but you didn't say much at all. I know I was critical at times in thinking it was mostly your fault that we were on the slide. When you learn from those mistakes and apply that to the present, its called wisdom.
If you gain no wisdom because you are constantly trying to change the past, you will repeat the mistakes of the past.
I make new mistakes, I learn from them and adjust my present accordingly.
