The Wyoming one Mikey. It's a supervisor position. I have leadership qualities that I've not been able to use because of being in entry level positions my whole life. Working entry level positions puts my earning potential not far above minimum wage, which makes it difficult to live on my own and support myself. And part of my frustration in my jobs has been conflict with co-workers because I take on leadership when I'm at the same level as they are. Most of the jobs out there want you to have experience, but unless someone is willing to give me the chance to get that experience, I'm basically out of luck. The supervisor position challenges me to meet my full potential. Being stuck in entry level jobs with no chance of moving forward in that position is a source of much frustration for me. So as far as growth, confidence, and having more options in life career wise, the Wyoming job is much better for me. It won't be easy and I will have to work extra hard on balancing my emotions and maintaining my emotions when conflicts arise, but that also is a huge step forward, and what is best for me. If it doesn't happen, I will at can at least feel good about giving myself the chance to let it happen. I'm the one who's always stopped myself due to feeling "less than" or "not able", well it's time I take a chance on me and go for it!

It was good. I spoke with a couple other places that were interested in interviewing me. The one Ranch said the Mackinac Island or supervisor position would be much better for me with my qualifications. Plus they don't have housing to suit my needs as far as separating age groups. I think she just wants youngins there Seriously though, she said sometimes she hires for office work and would like to keep my resume on file. They are working on getting housing that better meets the different age groups. The other place is the Ranch position that starts in June, in southern Colorado. That doesn't pay enough for me, but sure sounds like fun and a cool job. She wants me to get back with her after I have the supervisor interview and let her know what I will be doing. If I don't get the supervisor position, I will take the Mackinac Island position. I need to stay off CoolWorks, a stable position with the company here just came up for the summer. I know they would hire me because they've already mentioned it. They need an office person here and at Estes Center. I love the West! I have two more interviews besides the supervisor one. One I'm not going to take, but will speak with him out of courtesy. The other is the one in Maine. I want to at least speak with her too. Just emailing them and not even hearing them out pretty much shuts the door for future opportunities.

Somewhat anyways. I think I just wanted to explore my options rather than take the first one that was offered to me. And I wanted to at least take the interview for the head of housekeeping rather than turn it down because I think it might be too stressful. That's not very empowering. It I say no, it will be because I don't want it, not because I don't think I'm capable. And I won't know if I want it unless I speak with them. I am checking out Mackinac Island a little more. Really cool. There's a bike trail circling the whole Island, that would be a really nice daily ride. And great exercise. AND.... They have a new age store that has sage to burn, crystals, Reiki stuff, meditation, and all that really cool spiritual and me-etaphysical stuff I'm into The trails into the Island look really cool too. Temperatures are an average of 75 during the summer, low 80's in July.

No, if you look at the pictures from the Spotted Horse Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, you'll understand why I'm having such a hard time. Holy cow that place is gorgeous.

I asked my manager to schedule me off on week days this coming up week. So I won't be off until Monday. Silly me, I should have said Sunday and Monday I needed one or two week days available for employers on the East Coast to be able to contact me. But now it's not really necessary.

Oh well, so you're working all weekend now huh? I'm going to pick up my youngest Saturday. He'll be here all next week. I hope the weather cooperates.
