It's on Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan. A Front Desk/Housekeeper position at a Bed & Breakfast place.

It's got a lot of History. The island is beautiful, I've been there a couple times just visiting.

Yes Delightful, it's an hour and a half from Traverse City where I raised them. My one son is still there, the other is in Central Michigan in Grand Rapids. So both will be close.

Oh for heaven's sake. I'm either doing it wrong with Skype or I got the time zone screwed up. It is supposed to be 4pm, but I thought it was 4pm her time, not mine.

I already tried calling them on Skype, at 4pm their time. Tried three times and they didn't answer. So maybe it's 4pm my time?

I seriously need to learn how to use Skype. It's ringing, and showing his name, so I'm assuming the call is ringing there.

Try it at 4 your time. easy thing to explain to them if they wonder what you did

Thanks Mikey. I emailed her yesterday to confirm the time and asked about Central time or Mountain time... she responded with "I think we agreed on 4pm".... Didn't specify central or mountain. And I told her my skype ID was on private and she emailed me today to say she couldn't find me.

I'm wondering if it's them who doesn't have it all together.

I don't understand the private on the Skype? Can you not change it?

I set it to private so I don't get the whole world trying to message me.

Finally got through. It went well, they seem very nice. A couple things aren't like the website said. I will be sharing an apartment with someone, but have my own bedroom. And it's not included in the job. They are going to find out how much the rent is and let me know.

It's still $13 dollars an hour and at the minimum 35 hours a week, but more like 40 plus hours. Breakfast and lunch is included, but I have to take care of my own dinner.

Oh, pity the accommodation isn't included,
Is that a better one from the other jobs?

Possibly, it will depend on how much they charge for rent. It's from April until November, so as far as that goes, it's good. And it being close to my sons, that makes it good as well.

I don't know what a couple of the other's pay, I will have to find out during the interview.
