How does the consciousness of a liver cell within you ... explain the consciousness of a brain cell within you ...

That liver cell lives among other liver cells ... they like to keep to their own kind ... it is what it knows ...

How then does the liver cell make sense of a world outside the liver? Or even contemplate that there is a bigger purpose for it?

And does it really matter?

Ok clearify your question. "Does it really matter?" Of course it does. Everything serves a purpose, whether that it realizes something or or not is a totally different question.

Just because its a cell, I could not begin to tell you. Ask it, maybe it will tell you. I know people who have no clue why they even exist! laugh So what does that tell you?

So I answered the first time correctly..."yes it matters to the liver". Does the cell have awareness of anything? I have no clue, but I know some people who don't! bigsmile laugh

flowerforyou

LOL, well I am sure it matters to your liver! bigsmile laugh

Are you sure that the liver cell is even aware that it lives within a small piece of the whole?

explain the consciousness of a brain cell within you ...

whoa way off topic ..that humans have cells are not in dispute

Was not off topic actually ... merely a contemplation of the topic...

If I imagine the all of creation to be my body for example ... are the individual parts aware of each other ... and can they adequately explain one another ...

I do not believe in a biblical version of God ... more a creative source from which all things flow ... a consciousness if you will ...

Can a single cell within me be conscious of the all of me ... and can the consciousness of me truly be conscious of the all that was, is and will be of EVERYTHING...?

yes a single cell within you can be conscious of all of you...if energy cannot be destroyed but can be altered or displace then it's possible that energy retains memory and therefore consciousness ..so please enough of science class ..now can you descibe God without sounding delusional

I know when I pray O father Zeus and sacrifice my white goat at the alter. The peace that sweeps over me and the way fate makes my pockets full with money. No fake God could do that!!! That is proof that no one can touch.

you are not describing God but describing the fun you have in killing white goats and profiting off it with money magically appearing in your pockets ...sounds delusional to me

explain the consciousness of a brain cell within you ...

whoa way off topic ..that humans have cells are not in dispute

Not at all off topic....it just takes a wider view....expand the view, and you will see the relevance.

ok ..God is described as a brain cell ...sounds delusional to me

you miss the point

the point is that you didn't descibe God but instead are trying to explain concepts

OK, the question is "describe God without sounding delusional".

As in physical form, I have no clue, never seen the guy.

As in "purpose" form, he is the master designer of everything in existence. Just as there can be a master builder of a building, etc. Take a cathedral or a bridge. Someone designed it, then created that design. they placed careful thought in the detail to make sure that the building does not collpse, or the brodge does not fall.

So your answer typically would be something of that nature, just on an unimaginable scale to the human mind.

Does that answer your question?

my Father God is real because he told me so. Dillusional or not my faith in Him is unwavering and no matter how many people come into these threads and say He is not real....I guess there are three points. 1. Can you proove he is not? and 2. I guess when the time comes for God to show us he is, was, and always will be...all those quetioning his realness will get their answers and 3. All those whose faith is so strong....will already know and therefore be with him.

God IS a concept

How else should I describe it? An ego in the sky?

the pursuit of truth cannot disallow that God is.

neither can delusion

Delusion can include that the delusion is that there is no God.

Delusion then is correct only fractionally.

Again, a contradiction and now a fallacy .

no it doesn't answer to the topic but it seem to contradict your own statements through-out this thread when you at first said you "believed" in God then changed it to that you "know" God exist and now you said you have "no clue" and "never seen" the guy .....sounds delusional to me

OK, its obvious you're an idiot (non thinking mind .. maybe its the sterioids???) When I said "no clue" it was about "physical form". The rest would make perfect sense to anyone whith a functioning brain not on steriods. bigsmile laugh

the topic asked you to describe God without sounding delusional not to disprove his existences...besides it's not up to anyone to disprove your delusion but up to you to prove you are not having a delusion
