Thanks for getting this stuck in my head. If you recognize its source, you are either a big Moody Blues fan, or as old as I am, or both:
"[First Man:] 'I think, I think I am, therefore I am, I think.'
[Establishment:] 'Of course you are my bright little star,
I've miles
And miles

Pretty files of your forefather's fruit
And now to suit our

You're magnetic ink.'"

Put 10 women in a room and you will get 10 different answers.

Women are attracted to men because of " who they are", then once they " have" them, they want the man to conform to what " they" want him to be.

Doesn't work that way

Real men STAY who they are ;)

That's a good reply, many women like a "bad " boy and they always think they are the one who's going to tame him. It will either end in tears or the guy has had enough of running around and is ready to change.

I appreciate your reply of a real man, being a male we"ll say. In college a professor told me that "normal" is mostly objective. So, for anyone, or anything to classify someone as this or that, well it's merely objective. Kudos to you for giving up on that fantasy that we all look for or aspire to to try and find someone, and are let down ultimately.

Ha; yeah. Sometimes thinking makes my head hurt, so I try to minimize that. bigsmile

Ha; good question. I always thought they were saying something like "magnifigeek" [whatever that might mean], until I saw the lyrics online. (I can't understand about half of what I hear Brits say on TV. "The United States and Great Britain are two countries separated by a common language."--George Bernard Shaw)
But apparently it has to do with MICR, Magnetic Ink Character Recognition, used on checks (or cheques, as they say on the eastern side of the Atlantic), which has been around since at least the latter part of the 20th century. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_ink_character_recognition

I have know many real men .. and religion seldom is the reason pitchfork

Amen to that, sister!
The only thing god has to do with it is when I moan "Oh yes, god!!!" and that has nothing to do with religion either blushing

Yeah, that's cos most women see the potential of a man and thinks he will become that or that she can help him become it. Many women fall in love with the potential of a guy, not with who he really is right now. Then the guy don't change, cos no one changes unless they themselves choose to, then guy gets narked and woman get desperate cos she's sure he is that potential she sees. And in a way she's right, just that he isn't that yet and 9 out of 10 times never will become it either.
So both end up unhappy and likely not understanding whatever happened to the love they used to share.

Women tend to please, want to help. Mostly because they themselves still got issues and need to be needed. Insecurity, low self-esteem etcetera etcetera...

Oh, and it's not just REAL man who don't change who they are... it's also the unempowered self-centered knuckleheads who don't.

I think outside of a few absolute a real man must evolve with the situation presented to him...John Wayne always knew when to talk, throw a punch, or draw.

Dear Real Man,
I've tried for years to find you but found an unfaithful and disrespectful man instead.
I was looking for loyalty, communication, honesty, Gentleness, Love, Respect, Humourous, Kind-hearted, Protectiveness only to name a few qualities I know you possess. Instead I was shown all the opposite of your inner qualities.
If you're reading this Real Man I would love to hear from you, because my Real man GPS has lead me on a few detours. :worried::confused:
Either you don't exist :thinking::thinking:or I need a new GPS:upside_down::upside_down::thinking::thinking:
Sincerely Still searching xoxo
P.s I do believe every man is as real as they have been created but the ones I've encountered haven't been true to themselves or me :pensive: Please come find me. :hugging::hugging:

A real man to me is someone who grabs the wheel of his life , steers it where he wants it to go, demonstrates a level of care for his passengers and pedestrians , takes responsibility for "wrong" turns, and asks for assistance when necessary to get back on track.

That analogy actually works for being a fully functional adult as well

Im working on it :D

A real man is different for each woman. but that being said... if i see that, i consider it a huge red flag.
